a quick search of their website tells me the only non-airport A&W in NC is in Asheville. And it's a combo A&W/Long John Silver's. The only other one is at RDU.

I think there was one in Northgate Mall in Durham when I was in HS there.

I miss root beer on tap.

Long John Silver's sounded so amazing - fish and chips, lobster bites, fried shrimp, etc.

In actuality it was tasteless, greasy as shit and wrecks your stomach. I'm pretty sure they fry the fries in the same oil as they do the fish.

I once took my car to the Pep Boys on Capital to get something fixed on it. I decided to walk over to Long John Silver's to grab a bite while waiting and ho-lee-shit did it wreck my stomach, intestines, colon, and pants. It's salad shrimp surrounded by 3 inches of breading.
