I think I read somewhere where Boychuk said he is aiming to play Monday night. Probably more likely that it is on the west coast swing, though.

I second this. Are you on side we defend twice? I used to love getting blown out by the horn after every goal and when the mighty mites would play. The new sound system isn't that great either, all bass and it's not as clear for the announcements. Oh well.

Overall it was an exciting game though there is still a lot of work to do in defensive terms, but I love games with 10 goals involved, at least it's worth the money we paid to get in.

I feel bad for McCabe though, he got all the hell that he did in Toronto, gets traded to Florida for a new start and the first game breaks his back. That just sucks. Would have preferred Jay Bouwmeester so that his trade value is zilch for the panthers, but that's just me.

The new sound system is great, except for the fact that they have a shitty microphone or something for the announcer. Need to fix that and it'd sound great.

I love how when he was celebrating he fell over against the boards. I like the character they're showing in not giving up after getting down, but it's not what I want to see every night. I'd like to get the first one against Detroit and see how we play it.

I was checking the score updates while watching the Columbus-Phoenix game in Glendale. I went decked in my Canes gear and yelled pretty loud when I saw they came back and won in OT. I think the Columbus fans in front of me didn't like me. Can't wait to get out to the RBC Center for a game!

Last night I was listening on there and only got the TB radio feed through both "home team" and "away team" links. That announcer was annoying. Screamed like a fucking banshee when the Lightning scored but barely even mentioned when the Canes scored. I did double-takes on two of the Canes goals because I wasn't sure if they scored or not. "and eric staal shoots he scores it was a good comeback for the canes we'll be back after the break bye."
