and someone else thinks ACORN can do no wrong and never has, and that all the programs like ACORN that have good intentions on the surface will work and have worked

you think you're so smart about all subjects nutsmackr...lets see if you can make your point without trolling with personal attacks throughout the entire rest of the thread...that shouldnt be so hard for someone like you who is a self claimed expert in everything, should it?

Does anyone think Acorn's employees who turned in fake registration cards is going to affect the outcome of this election? Or do you actually think these fictional people they made up are going to end up apprearing at the polls to vote?

I'll show you the type of shit that is much more likely to affect the "outcome" of the election

Terp have you heard of absentee ballots?

However, it was dems that pushed to not require ID while voting. Oh and the ACLU... gotta give them credit too.

1. It isn't voter fraud

2. it's voter registration fraud

3. ACORN is legally obligated to turn in the complete voter registration forms, no matter what

4. ACORN marks the registrations that are invalid and lets the BOEs know about

5. You are making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Everyone gets your trinket of a "point." And you are an admitted liar and a fascist dicktaster--these are the accusations, at least.

Once again, the glaring difference in your libelous posts and the allegations against ACORN is evidence. But I wouldn't expect a far-left moonbat troll like you--or your cohorts, for that matter--to comprehend this straightforward point.

What? Thanks for the spam, but your team is going to lose.

Quote :
"Soon after Sarah Palin was elected mayor of the foothill town of Wasilla, Alaska, she startled a local music teacher by insisting in casual conversation that men and dinosaurs coexisted on an Earth created 6,000 years ago -- about 65 million years after scientists say most dinosaurs became extinct -- the teacher said.

Palin told him that "dinosaurs and humans walked the Earth at the same time," Munger said. When he asked her about prehistoric fossils and tracks dating back millions of years, Palin said "she had seen pictures of human footprints inside the tracks," recalled Munger, who teaches music at the University of Alaska in Anchorage and has regularly criticized Palin in recent years on his liberal political blog, called Progressive Alaska.

The idea of a "young Earth" -- that God created the Earth about 6,000 years ago, and dinosaurs and humans coexisted early on -- is a popular strain of creationism."

^ Oh, it's definitely not spam. It's a bunch of fucked up shit about Biden that you and your cohorts have conveniently chosen to ignore--not to mention his plagiarism and multiple brain surgeries some years back.

If you'd been paying attention, you'd have noticed I've posted here on numerous occasions that Obama will more than likely win. But if he does, you should note well that it wasn't because national Democrats are so good or so correct in their positions (but Obama is charismatic and obviously quite comfortable in his own skin). It's more that the Republican brand has been damaged by some boneheaded moves over the last eight years.

Also Wednesday, the Ohio Republican Party said it has filed public records requests with all 88 counties for copies of forms submitted by newly registered voters, especially those who registered and cast an absentee ballot on the same day during a one-week window earlier this month.

Brunner has said that 13,141 Ohioans registered and voted immediately during the window.

"We've seen reports of fraudulent registrations, and we want to see those forms first-hand," said Jason Mauk, the state GOP's executive director.

Nice work GOP.

Ohio Sec. State Asks Supreme Court To Step In On Verification Battle

Quote :
"Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner [D] has filed an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court, asking for intervention into the state's dispute over voter eligibility verification, the AP reports. The 6th U.S. Court of Appeals earlier this week ordered Brunner's office to establish a system of verification that would match driver's license numbers or Social Security numbers with new voter applications, something the state Republican Party had asked for [BECAUSE IT'S THE LAW!].

Over 650,000 new registrations have been turned into the state since January and Brunner's office say about 200,000 of them have mismatched data. But Brunner says there are multiple reasons why applications may be mismatched and said that a new process of verification could lead to disenfranchising voters. 'If the Sixth Circuit's decision is allowed to stand, an untold number of legitimate voters in Ohio will be forced to re-establish the bona fides of their vote before the county boards of elections, or they will stay home out of frustration or confusion,' Brunner wrote in her appeal.

Meanwhile, the AP also reports that the FBI is investigating ACORN's role in voter registration fraud complaints in states across the nation. A law enforcement source told the wire service that the FBI is looking through the results of several raids on ACORN offices in various states to find out if there has been a 'coordinated national scam.'"

http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2008/10/16/politics/horserace/entry4526500.shtml

Now this fiasco appears to have moved beyond voter registration fraud into actual voter fraud:

A comrade who worked with ACORN thinks the organization implicitly encouraged fraud in order to raise money. I know they told me they got five bucks for each completed voter registration form. If this money came from the government, that would explain the focus on meeting quota.

Meh, I'm not too impressed by that example. If the dude studying in Oxford is American, he's entitled to vote somewhere. Unless he's voting multiple times, what's the big deal?

Also, was this group connected to ACORN? If so, I missed that.

Simply because I'm not insane. Only an insane person would repeat the same steps and expect a different conclusion when nothing suggests otherwise.

It would be insane to support the same party that claimed to be fiscally conservative when in fact they were the exact opposite on a massive scale.

My vote is a protest vote.
