SORT OF LIKE WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO PORTRAY IRAQ AS THE NEW VIETNAM. THE NUMBER OF CASUALTIES COMPARED TO EVERY WAR WE WERE INVOLVED IN DURING THE 20TH CENTURY (OR THE CIVIL WAR) ARE INCREDIBLY LOW.

I MEAN, THERE WERE CIVIL WAR BATTLES THAT KILLED 10,000 PEOPLE IN A DAY IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN. THERE WERE ABOUT 50,000 DEATHS WITHIN A THREE DAY PERIOD AT GETTYSBURG FOR INSTANCE.
