I routinely have good arguements with knowledgeable ST posters like TreeTwista10 and simonn. We don't always agree on things but we know that the other knows sports. Arguing with some people is a lost cause because all they bring to the table is nuh huh you're stupid or you're a dumbass and don't really bring up good points.

People don't like me because I am realistic. I said over two months ago that John Wall wasn't even considering us and just got bashed for it when in reality it was true. Yes I am hard on Sidney Lowe but I think we should be. I have been reasonable. He gets one more year and if we still show little promise, then I think its time to turn elsewhere. I don't see how that is unfair.

As for the topic, after the girls have met and talked with Kellie more, they will understand and move on. Trust me they will be fine. We hired a great coach. At first I wanted Glance to get the job because I could see Lee screwing this up like he did the men's search, but give him credit, we actually made a good move.

^^Hard to be positive about NCSU athletics right now. Most people are too optimistic. Like saying Lorenzo Brown is the second coming of Julius Hodge and we are going to actually compete in the ACC next year when the likelihood of that happening is very slim.

I mean we make a great hire for our athletics department with Harper and yet some people are not satisfied because it isn't the "right" move.

In regards to the Lorenzo Brown thing, a lot of State fans saw him play at the GSK (me included) where he tore it up and came off as the best overall player in the tournament (he played better than Wall at the tourney). So it isn't like people are just pulling shit out of their ass.

^^By the time the decision was made to go with Harper, there were no other head coaching jobs available (other than Western Carolina). Glance wanted (and still wants) to go to a more prestigious University.

This will be a good move for Glance though -- congrats to her!
