Service was great. Got valet so parking was no problem. Food was absolutely horrible. I am not picky when it comes to food, but this was 0/10. even dessert was ruined, apparently it was stored next to the fish in the refrigerator.

I'm in Louisville for the week visiting the fiancée. So, I took her on a steamboat dinner cruise on the Ohio river. It was pretty dang cold but other than that, it went over pretty well.

Tried going to P.F. Changs for dinner (in Greensboro). Come to find out this is the one day of the year where they do reservations. w-t-f? So we walked over to Mimi's Cafe and got a seat fairly quickly. After that we walked over to REI and made fun of some of the ridiculous and odd hiking clothes. I did snag a nice shirt on their winter clearance though.

I got hugs from my favorite three year old, but that was pretty much it.

My husband and I are two hours apart from one another and he worked closing in order to let some of his employees off for Valentine's Day. He's coming up tomorrow for a few days, so I'm sure we'll figure out something then.

Today was fantastic.

i sent her some flowers at work on friday just a few days early to surprise her. and we went out to dinner on sunday.

tonight i gave her the other gift i got her which was a necklace. and we made dinner together, and made cupcakes for dessert...

We played "Angry Birds"
I won a pie-eating contest
I took her out to eat at the IHOP in College Park
And then I went home.

My boyfriend got me an electric can opener and a lamp shade (and some flowers). I am sure that sounds really lame to an outside audience, but it was absolutely perfect for me and I am really happy. I <3 him.
