probably unlikely given the circumstances already.

^^you can get her signup information, but more importantly her IP address history, her ISP, from which you can get everything else.
3/31/2010 8:32:24 PM
they can give that too you?at this point i feel like its moot point right now though since i have the information i need. mostly. (name, address, alternate phone numbers...etc)but i didnt realize they had all that information. i didnt realize that stuff like the IP address and ISP could produce an identify. (hell, im not even sure what an isp is. im not very good with that stuff anyway ....lesson learned)[Edited on March 31, 2010 at 8:37 PM. Reason : jsiovd]

you subpoena an ISP with a court order and they can give you damn near everything you need for a legal proceeding.
3/31/2010 8:38:02 PM
what is an isp?so i know for the future
3/31/2010 8:39:42 PM
ISP = internet service providerhaha, I typed that before you asked, lol[Edited on March 31, 2010 at 8:40 PM. Reason : ]
3/31/2010 8:40:02 PM
wait.is there any way you can explain that to me in simple terms?how can the id you with IP address history? i thought that changes all the time.i'm probably soo off with that ahahaim gonna take a shower.school me neon
3/31/2010 8:44:05 PM
ISP's own entire subnetsso for example everything that starts with 216.1.1.X belongs to a certain organization/ISPand the ISP keeps a record of who has what IP address at any given time.[Edited on March 31, 2010 at 8:48 PM. Reason : af;ljasdf]

^yep. And modern cable/DSL IP's do not change very often. Your average joe internet user will retain the same IP address for weeks or months at a time. But yes, unless she is smart enough to be surfing through an anonymous proxy (which there's about a 0% chance of), it's pretty easy to work through the court system to get ISP account information.
3/31/2010 8:55:44 PM
^^and when you say "who has what IP address at any given time" you mean like individual modems?what if you do it in a library?or a coffee shop?^and you say this whole process would only cost like $60?[Edited on March 31, 2010 at 8:56 PM. Reason : oops][Edited on March 31, 2010 at 8:56 PM. Reason : ?]
3/31/2010 8:55:58 PM
she would have to do it from a coffee shop EVERY single time for that to be an issue. and with as much as she was posting shit, i highly doubt thatand yes to the modem question[Edited on March 31, 2010 at 8:57 PM. Reason : asfd]

imitation is the highest form of flattery
3/31/2010 8:57:16 PM
^^i understand. im just curious. trying to make sure i know what y'all are talking about lol
3/31/2010 8:58:08 PM
lol.. def try to figure out who she is though. noen sounds like he knows a lot more about it from the court side than me
3/31/2010 9:02:13 PM
only you, Joie...
3/31/2010 9:04:06 PM
i'm 99.999999999% positive of who she istheres a reason im so surefunny thing is...i dont know her :-/
3/31/2010 9:04:56 PM
^the 60 bucks is the cost of filing a civil filing against her. The only way you're going to get ISP cooperation is in connection with a court case.
3/31/2010 9:07:20 PM
so now that you are 99.999999999999999999999999%, what will you do?
3/31/2010 9:09:29 PM
