im a little intimidated by the running part. I could do a 5k or two but not at ur pace and i could never do half/full marathons i'd die. I'd try though. I think i'd wonder a little if me being not as in shape running wise would be a turnoff.

I seriously doubt u could kick my butt though

I mean this: They are incredible. They are so much more comfortable than regular socks, and they prevent any blisters or anything from performing.

At least get one pair. They're worth it.

My fav running store is having a sale. I'll have to hit it up and test drive a pair. I never get blisters from running, but I do get them during tennis.

Thumper, I would personally apply the money toward a down payment on a condo in my neighborhood. But if I were April, I would probably put the money into a college fund for her kids.

Say you do well enough at your job, but you don't particularly care for it and wouldn't mind getting out of the industry completely. Would it be ok to stop working without anything else lined up and just chill for the summer and start working again in September or so, or would you advocate minimizing downtime in order to maintain leverage? Money is not an issue.

^ Why not quit your job? I planned to take a few months off and go to Costa Rica to clear my head back when I thought I was getting laid off. Just do it. I mean, it might look weird to have a hole in your resume, but as long as you can explain that you were doing something meaningful (not hours upon hours of WoW), then you'll be fine.

Do you know any cool recipes involving a deep frier? My parents got one and I want to give them things to do with it besides frozen foods and the tempura I taught them to make.

If you were going to buy a "beginner corset" that was "more accessible", where would you do so?

The last time I ate something deep fried, it was at a cookie bake-off with my department back in December. We took different types of cookies and dipped them in funnel cake batter and deep-fried them. Dangerously awesome! I do like deep-fried tempura veggies. Broccoli rocks. Especially with a horseradish sauce.

For a beginner corset, I'd just go to Fairvilla megastore. Or start with a bustier-style top. White House Black Market makes a very sexy bustier that can be classed up with a jacket and worn to work. I have a couple of them.

Um, the shakes would probably be a great invention. I bet you could make some $$$ off that idea.
