^^ these people property tax has nothing to do with this fire dept. That's where the $75 fee comes in. People in the county don't pay city taxes. 10/7/2010 8:46:02 AM |

At least they can get their doublewide replaced. 10/7/2010 9:32:10 AM |

he may have a struggle getting them to pay for the loss since he denied fire protection...
if they do pay it I would expect them to have their policy dropped directly after. 10/7/2010 9:45:40 AM |

The insurance company fails for not verifying that covered properties have fire protection. 10/7/2010 1:16:47 PM |

Typically you have things like fire fees and whatnot paid before you are reimbursed by insurance.
Of course the insurance company might overlook that, but I doubt it. 10/7/2010 5:08:35 PM |

so national news coverage will help them out with their insurance hopefully missing the fact that the fee wasn't paid.
the guy said "I thought they would have put the fire out regardless of whether or not I paid the fee" lol

I think that when people don't pay the fee their house should be intentionally set on fire. 10/7/2010 5:45:57 PM |

Yet, I wonder if any of the county or state tax money that she paid went to fund the fire department that refused to put the fire out? I doubt city taxes in the middle of bumbfuck-nowhere are enough to cover the costs of the fire department without any outside help.10/7/2010 5:58:05 PM |

^^ They pay county taxes and state taxes. You don't think any of that money doesn't get shuffled to the fire departments within the state and county? 10/7/2010 11:24:10 PM |
