well, i'm guessing its more that catch22 feels a deep loathing of self and the fear and panic of being "trapped" in a body ve rejects more than the desire to wear sparkles and pantyhose. theres plenty of people who want to experiment with things traditionally associated with the other gender without rejecting their bodies. and i guess they would be the people indy is referring to in his post.

I mean, if you woke up with a minge tomorrow, you'd probably want your penis back. so what if all of the people around you experienced amnesia regarding your gender/genitalia and strictly only remembered you as a woman? if you can vividly imagine the panic you might feel in that stituation maybe you've finally got a glimmer of how OP probably feels.

i tend not to treat anyone who is transgender differently. (yes a have some transgender friends. 2 actually) this includes not saying common phrases. that seems to promote inequality.

There was a tranny on my plane out of San Juan the other day. I probably wouldn't have noticed if she didn't have what was obviously a several day mustache. It was weird because I didn't see any beard, but then again everybody grows hair in different places and it might have been natural for her. When I saw that I checked for an adams apple to confirm. She stood out quite a bit though. Had she worn less provocative clothing I probably wouldn't have even taken a second glance and never noticed the stache or adams apple.
