so..........I stood up from my revive infected, revived two survivors, wandered around and tried to find an entry point and fell to the street twice trying to free run. That area is decimated. Turns out I had 3 HP left, so I dragged myself back to the revive point and revived another survivor, then died.

BTW there is an Auto Repair that is currently being broken into to the North East 2 blocks or so, about 10 survivors facing two Z's at the moment.

Same thing happened to me. Tough to be a noob during this siege. Can't stay alive for more than a day because I can't find anywhere to sleep in West Grayside and if I do, it just gets overrun with zombies and my brains are dinner.

What's the etiquette regarding a survivor attacking barricades to get them low enough to enter? Are people generally cool with it as long as you build them back up? Or am I just fucked until I get Free Running?

I'm currently a zombie, but assuming I an revived someday, where is the best place to find syringes? I'm assuming the hospital. If I hit search once and don't find anything in a place, is searching the same place again immediately worthwhile or dumb?

The Wiki says that you can find syringes in NecroTech buildings, and you can make them yourself for 20AP in a powered NecroTech building. Obviously, you need the Lab Experience skill to actually use the syringes. And you should spend your search time on buildings that are maintained with generators and whatnot...it's hard to find stuff in ruined buildings with no light. And you definitely may have to search over and over to find certain things--syringes, for instance.

In order to get on without free running, you need to check the suburb's barricade plan on the Wiki and head towards places that are marked as VSB. If they aren't VSB when you get there, sorry. Maybe you should avoid revive points and just get your zombie on (on other zombies) to build up XP for free running...then get revived and then buy free running...


There's soooooo much on the Wiki, and I'm barely scratching the surface here. You should dig in--it's interesting!

StormyMonday is no longer a member of the West Grayside Wolf Pack, by the way. She got confused about barricades and was trapped outside and killed by a zombie several days ago. Out of frustration, she lurched over to New Arkham to start anew, free from the expectations and demands of the group. CousinMary resides in Dulston on the other corner of the map. And NightBirdFlying is manning a third corner in Dakerstown.

However, Sweet Lorraine is developing her skills in Peppardville and preparing to join the West Grayside Wolf Pack when the time is right.

I could use one of my survivors and grab a bunch of syringes to come revive you peeps, but he is about 7 suburbs away. I found one syringe, and can start moving out there tomorrow most likely. I could revive one survivor, who then revives my TNV character, who has about 8 syringes left.

Anyone have a closer option?

The wave appears to be moving east. Eastern West Grayside still has 1-5 zombies most blocks with ruined buildings, but Pole Mall is back - heavily occupied, powered, and barricaded.
