Yeah, most companies make you wait AT LEAST 30 days, if not 90 imo

Most insurance companies, don't cover maternity anyway. (If you're purchasing it on your own.)

Use protection, or buy the insurance if you're seriously considering having a kid. Grown ups don't have "close calls"
