What exactly has Sheen done wrong?

Has he hurt anyone?...violated just laws? (drug laws are unjust)...broken any contracts?

Has he actually done anything bad,

He's destroyed a bunch of property, terrorized a porn star (and his ex-wives), and I would suspect violated his contracts with the people who make his show (seeing as how he's now been fired).

The "eccentricity" wouldn't get nearly as much coverage if he weren't spewing ridiculous bullshit in defense/denial of his behavior and what is clearly a drug problem, regardless of what you think about the laws.

If I recall correctly, he basically trapped the porn star in the same hotel and threatened her...can't remember if he beat her up her not. Supposedly also beat his 2nd wife and threatened to cut off his current wife's head and send it to her mom.

Yeah, he can say whatever he wants in his defense. And the media can cover whatever it wants, too. The fact that people think raving lunatics are funny is nothing new.
