Haha, that thing is beyond hideous. I went by the Swamp and picked up a few of those posters the other day (they are free). It looks even worse in person. Maybe like a half assed computer wallpaper.
I'm not sure what went wrong, the posters for at least the past 5 or 6 years have all been above average to excellent.
In contrast, the 2011 NCSU poster kicks ass. 7/13/2011 4:58:52 AM |

in order to have the nike swoosh included in the poster, doesnt nike have to sign off or does the school pretty much have universal rights over it since they are sponsored?

Quote : | "INDIANAPOLIS--- The Georgia Institute of Technology committed
When determining the appropriate penalties, the committee took into account the university's repeat violator status. The penalties, some of which were self-imposed by the university and adopted by the committee, include:
•Public reprimand and censure. •Four years of probation from July 14, 2011 through July 13, 2015. The public report further details the conditions of this probation. •A $100,000 financial penalty. •A reduction of two men's basketball recruiting days during the 2011 summer evaluation period (self-imposed by the university). •A limit of 10 official visits for men's basketball for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 academic years. •A vacation of all contests won by the football team during the 2009 season after November 24, which is when the university was alerted to the potential eligibility issues. and when a HS player visits their facilities or when a college uses their resources, colleges cant set up media coverage/interviews. This is already in place... just a question of if being on "The Longhorn Network" counts as using Texas' resources. Seems like it obviously does. 7/20/2011 11:02:01 AM |

Not sure where else to put this, but FSU just landed the #1 QB in the 2012 class and already has the#1 player in the class, some DE from Texas. WTF man? All of these kids were too young to remember a relevent FSU so they are not recruiting on prestige. Plus the QB is from Alabama and somehow sleaze bag Fisher lands him over king sleaze bag Saban plus he beats out Big 12 schools for the top player in the nation who is from Texas. Come on. Gotta be recruiting violations taking place. 8/3/2011 9:06:14 PM |

he's the #1 QB if you use ESPN's rankings. #2 on scout.com and #5 on rivals. Still a big-time recruit, but ESPN skews their rankings to the south more than anyone else.8/3/2011 10:30:50 PM |
