you think denver would have learned their lesson last year with jr smith, and now he's doing the same shit again, they could have traded him for something decent after he infected the entire team in their playoff series last yr but now they are going to just have to let him go for nothing

Well at least we can put the rose for mvp argument to bed, these last two games illustratee he's at least a year or two away from being an elite player.

How does a team with a payroll like dallas not have an NBA caliber backup PG on the roster.

I guess they kept hoping beaubois would recover. Barea has been killing them all series, praying kidd can stay fresh a Few more games

Dallas was up over 20 points in the 3rd quarter and Portland just cut it to 2 with 90 seconds to go

damn Roy trying to convert the 4 point play

Series is over unless Caron comes back. Can't let a lineup like Portland back alive.

damn I like barea, the dude is prob like 5'6 and he's totally fearless, anyhow this was awesome to see for roy (although I missed most of the game), with a long off season hopefully he can get back to being an elite player

and I wonder if hansbrough puts those filthy contacts he always loses right back in to his eyes

Dallas is a solid team but they really need a better option than jason terry he's pretty done. Killed them last year. He's playing better this year but he's just too streaky for a guy who doesn't do anything else but shoot

I knew the wholle game they were going to blow that. That always happens when I have way too much money on a series

very doubtful...he basically bitched about the no-call, and then more importantly walked away

thats the type of thing i'd hope the refs would let slide, its not like he was punching people

it's going to be miami or the lakers for the title, bulls don't have what it takes, I'd go 65% la, 35% miami at this point

That's giving LA a lot of credit to crown them after only being up 2-1 on the Hornets, especially considering how shitty they played in April. I would definitely not count out Oklahoma City in the West either, or Boston in the East.

yeah but those pieces of crap always manage to turn things on just in time, plus as usual I can sense things starting to drift their way, san antonio gave them the 2 seed by benching their entire team and they have the one first round opponent in the west that is no threat to beat them no matter how bad they play with west injured

The quality of basketball being played in the NBA playoffs is great. Far better than anything you see in the college game. Execution offensively and defensively is top notch

Big Baby doesn't want to step to Melo. After all he might punch him then run away.

Also whenever I hear Rondo yell to his teammates I think of Chris Tucker

if you're gonna stick with Billups instead of trying to get CP3, why not go ahead and go after Howard for your center

^ With the lockout the cap figure is going to drop. There's no way in hell they could get either Howard or Paul as the way things are right now.

probably not but if you have a chance at getting Yao or Howard, you're gonna go after Howard

anybody think Gilbert Arenas has a big game or does Atlanta go up 3-1?

Yao's salary is going to go down big time. Some team might actually end up getting a great deal.

You can probably get Greg Oden on the cheap too but I don't think he'll stay healthy either

Howard is pretty much the only true center in the league size-wise who happens to be built like a power forward which is part of the reason why he's never been hurt

big freakish centers like Yao don't often have the physical makeup to play long productive NBA careers

Hawks are falling to shit, Crawford is the only one who can score

Howard is a monster but the rest of the Magic can't do shit

Joe Johnson looks like he did last year when he didn't want to be a Hawk

I cant get over how bad the rest of the Magic team is.

If Howard re-signs there he's an idiot. His supporting cast is fucking anemic this year.
