I have the 2nd pick in my money league draft tomorrow night. In the league TD passes are worth 6 pts, so would you take a chance on Vick or just stick with Foster? 8/26/2011 4:53:33 PM |

If passing tds are worth six Aaron Rodgers would be #1 on my list 8/26/2011 5:03:22 PM |

how many teams in the league?
I'd take a Romo/Rivers/Schaub and Foster combo over a Rogers and Gore combo 8/26/2011 5:19:03 PM |

Rodgers over Vick or any of the big 4 rbs since pass tds are 6 pts too?
Its a 12 team league

I'm very skeptical of Peyton this year...guy in my league who had already drafted Brees picked up Manning, hoping he would be good trade bait later in the season...I wouldn't take him at 31...speaking of Peytons, I'm not really sold on Hillis this year...I had him last year and he was great, but he had zero touchdowns the last 5 weeks of the season
^I'd take ADP/Foster then try to get a Rivers or Brady later in the draft]8/26/2011 5:55:17 PM |
akaseinfeld All American 1608 Posts user info edit post |
I know Brady will be gone by the time I pick, as the guy picking 12th and 13th loves him. I mean I could hold out that someone doesn't take Manning (due to him being injured), or that Rivers slips, but I have a feeling, Rodgers, Vick, Brees, Rivers, Brady, and Manning will all be gone early.
in a 6pts for passing tds league, which is better Vick or Rodgers/Forte or Jackson combo better than say Foster/Big Ben or Freeman? 8/26/2011 8:27:05 PM |

Doing a 10-team draft standard scoring.. picking from the 2nd position:
So far:
Qb: Peyton Manning Rb: Adrian Peterson Rb: Steven Jackson Rb/Wr: Ahmad Bradshaw Wr: Hakeem Nicks Wr: Steve Johnson Te: Jermichael Finley 8/26/2011 10:12:19 PM |

ok I think I have talked myself into sticking with a RB with the #2 pick in my league (6 pts for passing tds) and hoping a decent QB falls.
So with that being said, is anyone wary of Foster having a letdown this year? Who do you take #2, Charles, Foster, Rice? 8/26/2011 11:42:14 PM |

Ppr? And i think you are making the right decision... personally, I don't think foster wil be a problem, as long as he stays healthy. But if you are worried, I'm torn between charles and rice 8/27/2011 8:12:49 AM |

Draft is tonight at 8:30 pm ....leaning towards Foster at the moment. Going to hope that a decent QB falls, just think that a top RB will be harder to find than a QB that gets me week to week. 8/27/2011 10:44:09 AM |

man, I'm torn. Rodgers and Vick are projected to get 500 points this year, Foster/Peterson are around 275 8/27/2011 10:46:37 AM |
akaseinfeld All American 1608 Posts user info edit post |
yea I know, in my league (CBS Sports) Vick and Rodgers are 366 pts while Foster is only like 242. This is where it gets confusing...the 12-15th RBs are projected for like 160-175 pts, while the 10th-12th QB is projected for around 280 pts. So do I go with Vick and hope he stays healthy and pair him with Blount or hope Forte falls? Or do you go Foster, and pick up like Josh Freeman or Big Ben? 8/27/2011 11:00:49 AM |

I've seen leagues that do -.25 for attempts, and .5 for completions (so it is really -.25 for incomplete, and .25 for completions); also seen bonuses for rush/pass/receiving plateaus (ie: over 100 rushing yards will get you an extra 5 pts, etc) 8/28/2011 12:24:28 PM |

I'd join, but I am not a fan of no money leagues, and I'd lose interest and not be worth anything
I just did a draft for our wonky keeper league:
QB: Tom Brady RB: Michael Turner RB: Frank Gore WR: Percy Harvin WR: Vincent Jackson WR: Brandon Marshall TE: Dallas Clark Def: Philly K: Sebastian Janikowski (got him in the last round after 5 other kickers were picked... surprised me)
BN: Marshawn Lynch BN: Tim Hightower BN: Mark Sanchez BN: Mike Thomas (jac) BN: Michael Crabtree BN: Robert Meachem BR: James Starks
I wasn't happy cause V. Jax was my only keeper, but I feel like I came out alright
