Lorenzo brown clearly gets a chop for missing those FTs and not playing defense on those 3 pointers.

If he keeps playing that loose, he's doing to follow CJ Williams in never getting to the NCAA tournament.

Williams should get a chop for those FTs, too, but it's not worth it to chop a senior.

By the way I forgot to bump this at the start of conference play but here are the chops for the year so far:

Rodney Purvis: 1 chop. This chop was issued as a result of fouling a guy on a three point attempt at the end of the BC game with a three point lead. Another chop was debated for fouling a guy on a dunk, but was ultimately declined because it was a bad call and not actually a foul.

Staats Battle: 1 chop. This chop was issued for driving drunk on New Years Eve of all nights. With that kind of tomfoolery, who knows what he'd do in a pinch on the court.


Redemptive Chops: Rodney Purvis 1/2 chop. This redemptive half chop was given for having such an overall good performance against BC as a freshman and really saving our heineys.

Official ruling:

While CJ undoubtedly deserves a chop for his sloppy block attempt at the end of the game (and the fact he's been doing this to our detriment all season) a rule was retroactively applied that you can not be given a chop within 7 days of beating a #1 ranked, undefeated team AND saving the life of a kid who may have been trampled.

No chops awarded.
