WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A public clash in Congress on Wednesday over photographs depicting the location of a second, semi-secret U.S. facility in Benghazi, Libya put the spotlight on a compound said to be more secure than the public American mission where U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens died last month.
When State Department officials, describing the chain of events on the night Stevens and three others died in a terrorist attack, displayed commercial satellite images of the two U.S. facilities, Rep. Jason Chaffetz, a Utah Republican, sharply accused them of divulging classified material.
"I was told specifically while I was in Libya I could not and should not ever talk about what you're showing here today," Chaffetz said at a hearing of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. A congressional aide confirmed he was referring to the second site.
The existence of the second compound has been widely reported in accounts of the September 11 violence in Benghazi, often being referred to as a "safe house" or "annex" to the temporary U.S. consulate. State Department officials at Wednesday's hearing said the photographs were not secret." |

Well, let's see if there's some truth to your prognosis.
schizoid Use Schizoid in a sentence Origin schiz·oid [skit-soid] Show IPA adjective 1. Psychology . of or pertaining to a personality disorder marked by dissociation, passivity, withdrawal, inability to form warm social relationships, and indifference to praise or criticism.
dissociation - nope passivity - nope withdrawal - nope inability to form warm social relationships - I can, I just don't want to because it means compromise. indifference to praise or criticism. - yes. why? because "Sticks and Stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me" and praise is just a demotivational factor since I don't have to try as hard to meet expectations. 10/11/2012 12:41:45 PM |

Quote : | "Symptoms
People with paranoid personality disorder are highly suspicious of other people. As a result, people with this condition severely limit their social lives.
They often feel that they are in danger, and look for evidence to support their suspicions. People with this disorder have trouble seeing that their distrustfulness is out of proportion to their environment.
Common symptoms include:
Concern that other people have hidden motives - It's a well known fact that EVERYONE has hidden motives, except for those without the capability of thinking that deep like my grandmother who is the sweetest lady you'd ever meet. When she does have hidden motives, you can always expect that it's something pleasant. As far as the government, there is more evidence than not to be suspicious about hidden motives. All you have to do is look at history.
Expectation that they will be exploited by others - This is a reasonable expectation since I don't know when someone is or isn't exploiting me. It's more safe to assume everyone will exploit you than noone will exploit you. The only way to get passed this expectation is trust. There are numerous people I trust, such as my bank, my employees, and my vendors.
I accept the fact that I may or may not be exploited and will be exploited at least once by an organization big and/or small by the time I die.
Inability to work together with others - I can't communicate my thoughts efficiently or thoroughly enough. I'd ask someone to do something precisely and 99 times out of 100, the result never comes out the way I want. I don't have a problem talking to computer because 1) I can predict how it will respond to a command 2) If the computer doesn't respond the way I want, I have time to analyze, rephrase, or research my command. 3) I don't have to use inflection in my voice to get a point across. Because I know my shortcomings exist, I cannot be expected to hold other people upto the same strongcomings I possess such as math, science, and logic. For example, I get mentally frustrated to know someone has the inability to understand how money works and is constantly in debt. At the same time, I know you get mentally frustrated that I can't communicate with you at a precise and accurate level.
Social isolation - nope, I work in public every day of my life, I know people from the site IRL, I have an entire group of people I associate with in the liberty movement.
Detachment - I choose not to attach myself. It's petty. It's like crying when someone takes away your teddy bear as a child. The world is not affected by your attachment. It's all in your head and it's arbitrary to everything and everyone but to you.
Hostility - I get mad just like everyone else who gets frustrated. For instance, yesterday when you said the national convention was just a show and that I'm the only one that takes it seriously, but you turn around and comment on Romney as if his policies were real. Stuff like that is just so ignorant that it really does piss me off.

The most proven and effective means of population control is to raise the general standard of living. People tend to be more conscious of their family planning when they actually live an in environment where they can have reasonable aspirations for a career. This is why the birth rate curve always closely follows the income curve, and why Japan, Europe, and America all have low, if not unsustainable birthrates.

Obviously not a perfect correlation, but it makes sense. More money = better education, better access to birth control, better life prospects that would be cut short by having a family early, etc. You want people to have fewer kids, give them a life and opportunities such that there's incentive to remain individualistic for a longer period of time. That way, when they finally do decide to have kids, they're usually already infertile from age!

Do you actually, seriously, literally believe that welfare and child support make having additional children profitable?
Is this really a sincere belief that you hold, that welfare > costs of raising a child?
I know you used an emoticon, which might indicate you're being facetious, but it's hard to tell with statements like that, on a board like this...

yes.
welfare is an excuse for women without a job or income to have children and men must have 2 or 3 jobs to pay for child support/expenses for himself and for his children.
Yahoo explains it best:
How much money does the average welfare mom get per kid in California? I'm curious how much these women get per kid.
Best Answer - Chosen by Voters More than the men who impregnated them do.

Okay, you know that women get money for having kids.
Now you need to find out how much.
Then you need to know how much it costs to raise a kid.
Then you need to learn basic arithmetic.
Then you'll be able to explain to me why you believe it's profitable.
This is the basic procedure for explaining your position on an issue that involves numbers. I know this sounds daunting because it involves you doing some actual research instead of reading facebook and dailypaul.com, but this is what people with informed opinions do on a regular basis.

So let me make sure I have this straight. You believe that all these women are putting themselves through 9 months of discomfort plus a few hours of the worst pain on Earth, years of nursing and hassle and close monitoring, food, school clothing, medical bills, and the 18,000 other headaches and expenses involved in raising a child, so they can collect a few hundred dollars a month for food. The child is, to them, entirely an instrument of wealth creation and they have no problem feeding the kid mac & cheese so they can eat lobster, because they are terrible heartless human beings.
You literally believe that these women are weighing those things and saying to themselves "Yes, I will definitely purposely impregnate myself and dedicate my entire life to managing children just so I can be a slumdog hundredaire" instead of going to a trade school once for 9 months and instantly upping their monthly income potential by thousands.
