To what extent? With Freeman, McCann back, you would put him at 3rd? Dont see it. But great pinch hitter, 2 days a week catcher, emergency 1B.

And pitching definitely kept them in it. Teheran could have imploded after the first few innings but he dug down and kept it reasonable.

Also...how about that Justin Upton/Chris Johnson for Martin Prado/Randy Delgado trade look right now? Johnson has proven solid at 3rd and 1st while raking and Justin Upton is leading the league in homers.

Prado is hitting .278 with 2 homers and 6 rbi..........Johnson and Francisco combined are at .342 with 2 homers and 9 rbi. We stole those 2 from Arizona if you ask me.

Season is still young.

Basically have 3 guys carrying the offense. Pitching has been so good that we've been able to get away with it. I'd like to see more consistency from the entire lineup.

Coming from a Braves fan, whose teams went to the series 5 times in the 90s and lost four of them, and only won it against an upstart Cleveland Indians team (read: took advantage of an underdog). Means entirely a lot.

You know your team is the reason people assume the NL is constantly weak, right? I mean, you do understand that people carry that assumption, right? It's based on the Braves' failures of the 90s as a prime example...

What IS fair -

I went with the team affiliated with my hometown. I guess it's like being a Panthers fan or something. I was once a Braves fan as a naive kid. A lot of you were probably Carolina fans at some point in your youth, but then you realize there's no real point in doing that and you switch out to something that makes the most sense. The Braves are just boring, the city they represent sucks, the state sucks, the fans are horrible and extremely bandwagon/fairweather. Yeah, I guess I'm describing Tampa, too, but as I said, I have a true connection to them, so there's that. Not some Florida State tomahawk bullshit.

People that think the entire city of Atlanta sucks get too much of their input from watching too many videos and think they know based on that rather than actually living there. Are there bad parts? Sure. But every city has bad parts, and Atlanta is just the biggest city in the south so there are more bad parts, but there are also more great parts and its never ever boring. Oh no, lots of black people, it must suck!

Having lived, LIVED, not visited, not read about, not assuming, not thinking every neighborhood is a Jermaine Dupri video, but actually having lived in Raleigh and Atlanta both for extended periods of time I would never ever live in Raleigh over Atlanta. Not even close.
