There is two ways to look at it.

Race to the line and put fans in jeopardy
Yellow comes out and NASCAR isn't the most dangerous sport in the world and CNN doesn't make shit up

With the time they had it was the right call to make IMO. but... I wasn't able to watch the race

Re "better show than any other racing series", I'll defend USAC to the death, but watch the last 10 laps of the Indycar race at Sao Paulo last weekend, some of the best racing for the win I've ever seen.
