Tom Glavine was on 680TheFan today and mentioned an odd policy in MLB... if there is a brawl and the benches clear, any player on the DL that leaves the bench gets a substantial fine and possible suspension. I just wonder what the push for this rule was... protecting the player? did it come from MLB or the Players Association?

Max Scherzer or the Tiger's catcher might get ejected if they don't calm the fuck down. He's thrown a couple of pitches 6 inches outside and freaked out when he didn't get the call he wanted. Ended up striking Chris Davis out, but Jesus dude, settle the fuck down. Those pitches weren't even close. I don't care if you "hit your spot", when your spot is in the other batters box you aren't getting the call.
