yeah I took Jimmy Graham at 21 in a league. not that crazy.

the retarded thing is people drafting tight ends not named Graham or Gronkowski before about the 8th round.

sudfield is going in the 10th ... cameron and bennett as well ... good sleeper TE picks at the end of the draft ... stock up on RB/WRs instead.

In a PPR league I like Witten before the 8th round, esp. full point PPR(he had 100+ receptions last year). Not sure why everyone has Davis ahead of Witten in most of the drafts I've done. This whole "Davis is lining up at WR" deal is a minor deal for me, heard a stat on a fantasy radio show a week or so ago that point out Davis lined up plenty of times last year at wideout and didn't do much with those opportunities.

Draft I was in last night had Ridley fall to the late 3rd/early 4th round too, not sure why people are so cold on him all of a sudden. Sure he didn't look great against Detroit, but the entire Pats O looked bad against the Lions. I get him sliding a bit in PPR leagues, but not as far as he has been sliding.

Here, let me show you my draft from last night (with a bunch of twwers). I had the 6th pick, 12-team 0.5ppr.

1. LeSean McCoy (Phi - RB)
2. Aaron Rodgers (GB - QB)
3. Chris Johnson (Ten - RB)
4. Pierre Garcon (Was - WR)
5. Rob Gronkowski (NE - TE)
6. DeSean Jackson (Phi - WR)
7. San Francisco (SF - DEF)
8. Greg Jennings (Min - WR)
9. Josh Gordon (Cle - WR)
10. Chris Ivory (NYJ - RB)
11. Michael Floyd (Ari - WR)
12. Zach Sudfeld (NE - TE)
13. Jonathan Stewart (Car - RB)
14. Dan Bailey (Dal - K)
15. Christine Michael (Sea - RB)

I'm not in love with my WRs, but yahoo projects me to win the league with a 12-1 record (LOL)

Standard league, start 2wr and flex.

Better keeper:

Dwayne Bowe in 6th

Or

Reggie Wayne in the 8th?

^ Just found out I can keep 3 (4th round pick or later).

Currently keeping
Demaryius Thomas (5th round this year)
Reggie Wayne (8th round this year)

Options for 3rd keeper:
Dwayne Bowe (6th round this year)
Seattle D/ST (13th round this year)

Either of those teams worth keeping? Start 2 WR and Flex

How many rounds are there? There's really not many good defenses so if that's about where you'd take a D anyway.. Might as well lock them up

Seattle Seahawks D/ST (13th round pick 5)
Dwayne Bowe (6th round pick 6)

^ I inherited a team from a guy who didn't want to do it this year. We can only keep 4th round or better. Eligible I have

Demaryius Thomas (Den - WR) - keeping in 5th round this year
Reggie Wayne (Ind - WR) - Keeping in 8th

So options include:

Fred Jackson (Buf - RB) - Would be 3rd round this year
Jonathan Dwyer (Pit - RB) - Would be 15th round pick
Matt Schaub (Hou - QB) - 10th round
Mike Wallace (Mia - WR) - 4th round
Dwayne Bowe (KC - WR) - 6th round
Greg Olsen (Car - TE) - 12th round
Seattle (Sea - DEF) - 13th round

^ Pro-tip noted.

I inherited a team from a guy who didn't want to do it this year. We can only keep 4th round or better, and we can have 3 keepers we can use (don't have to). Start 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 Flex, 1 D/ST, 1 kicker. Standard socring.

Eligible I have:

Demaryius Thomas (Den - WR) - keeping in 5th round this year
Reggie Wayne (Ind - WR) - Keeping in 8th

So options include:

Fred Jackson (Buf - RB) - Would be 3rd round this year
Jonathan Dwyer (Pit - RB) - Would be 15th round pick
Matt Schaub (Hou - QB) - 10th round
Mike Wallace (Mia - WR) - 4th round
Dwayne Bowe (KC - WR) - 6th round
Greg Olsen (Car - TE) - 12th round
Seattle (Sea - DEF) - 13th round

I'm down to either keeping Bowe or Seattle D/ST? But don't have to keep either, thoughts?

I don't think Bowe will "drop this year". Think about it, Bowe had no one to throw to him last year either, but at least now he is in an Andy Reid offense which should make the KC offense much more efficient. I see Bowe still having a good season. Plus the Chiefs will likely be losing most of the time so they'll throw the ball in the 2nd half andBowe is a clear #1 WR on his team while Wayne is option #2 on his.

Alex Smith can't throw for shit...he's a smart QB, who knows what throws to make, and doesn't have the physical tools to make the throws

If Charles somehow gets hurt, KC could be looking at another 2-14 season, even with Reid calling the plays

^ I went with Wayne as my 2nd keeper in the league a couple posts up, I am just trying to figure out in the next hour if Bowe has 6th round value. I could go 3 RBs and a QB in the first 4 rounds, to go with Demaryius Thomas, Wayne, and Bowe if kept. For some reason I feel like Bowe will still be there in the 6th round, or perhaps better options?

I think either Bowe or Seattle would be fine. I'm not big on taking defenses until the 2nd to last round, but Seattle is the top defense going into the year, and you'd just be taking them in the 3rd to last round. Bowe is projected as around a 5th round pick, so I think either one works.

^ Last minute decision not to keep either (evidently rule said anything beyond 10th round pick is kept as a 10th round pick the following year) which eliminated the Seahawks. I am probably over-thinking it, but with Spiller, Morris, Richardson, etc being kept at good value from other teams, I didn't want anyone that would notice I had 3 WR already and would definitely pick RB early and often. Thanks all for the advice though, will probably regret not keeping Bowe, but its all good.

12 team league, 2RB/2WR/1FL....... drafted 12th. Feeling pretty good about this, tell me if I'm wrong.

No major Bye conflicts. WR are a bit weak I think, I was going to go WR/WR at the 3/4 turn, but I went with Graham when he fell that far (!!!)

1. (12) LeSean McCoy (Phi - RB)
2. (13) Alfred Morris (Was - RB)
3. (36) Jimmy Graham (NO - TE)
4. (37) Randall Cobb (GB - WR)
5. (60) DeMarco Murray (Dal - RB)
6. (61) Dwayne Bowe (KC - WR)
7. (84) Tony Romo (Dal - QB)
8. (85) Ahmad Bradshaw (Ind - RB)
9. (108) Chris Ivory (NYJ - RB)
10. (109) Kenbrell Thompkins (NE - WR)
11. (132) Kenny Britt (Ten - WR)
12. (133) Martellus Bennett (Chi - TE)
13. (156) Philip Rivers (SD - QB)
14. (157) New York (NYG - DEF)
15. (180) Garrett Hartley (NO - K)

pretty solid looking team, WRs arent that weak, especially considering how strong your RB/flex are

question: how highly does everyone hold Kaepernick this year? I've got him as one of my keepers this year, think I should target another top tier QB to go along with him, or use that pick on a high quality WR/RB and just roll with Colin?

He wasn't kept in my league. Went about 8-9th qb (I think 6 were kept). He's definitely worthy of being your starter, so I wouldn't waste another pick on a qb if you need a RB.. But I might not keep him either

if you're worried enough to waste another high pick for a backup qb, then dont bother keeping him

Well money league is complete ( I took over a team that didn't make the playoffs last year). Kept Demaryius Thomas and Reggie Wayne:

QB Drew Brees
WR Demaryius Thomas (kept in 5th)
WR Reggie Wayne (kept in 8th)
RB Ray Rice
RB DeMarco Murray
TE Jermichael Finley
Flex Ahmad Bradshaw
D/ST Patriots
K Matt Bryant

BN Rob Gronkowski
BN Daryl Richardson
BN Miles Austin
BN Golden Tate
BN Ben Roethlisberger
BN Jonathan Stewart

Dwayne Bowe ended up going like first pick round 6 ( I could have kept in the 6th), but I used the 6th on Bradshaw to get some running back depth. All in all ok with the draft I guess, giving I am taking over a team in a keeper league.

Martin at 9 and Morris at 12? Very nice. I've seen Martin go top 3 or 4 in a lot of drafts. I would guess your league had guys like Brees and Rodgers go in the 1st round.

I get Gore and Lance Moore

I give Cecil Shorts and Reggie Bush

should I do it?

I already have Megatron so that makes two Det players I would have if I kept Bush. and Two WRs from Jax as well

Right now my WRs are
Megatron
Amendola
Tate
Kenny Britt
Justin Blackmon

RBs:
Sproles
Bush
Mathews
Bryce Brown
Helu

Only reason I am considering it is the fact that I have Two Jax WRs and Two Detroit players

is Gore an upgrade?

PPR league

I'd keep Bush since it's a PPR. I'd take Shorts over Moore as well but they're somewhat interchangeable.

Bush should rack up on reception points for you this year if he's healthy.

This is my 3rd draft (14-team 0.5 PPR, passing TDs 4 pts---16 rounds ). Picked at #1 spot:

QB: Eli Manning
RB: Adrian Peterson
RB: Stevan Ridley
WR: Andre Johnson
WR: Golden Tate
TE: Jason Witten
WR/RB/TE: Giovani Bernard
K: (no one at the moment)
DEF: Steelers

BN: Kenny Britt
BN: Ryan Broyles
BN: Darrius Heyward-Bey
BN: Zach Sudfeld
BN: Sam Bradford
BN: Knile Davis
BN: Toby Gerhart
BN: Lance Dunbar

Not in love with my WR corp at all. I think if Zach Sudfeld becomes starter worthy, I may try to deal Witten for a good WR. It feels like I just went with upside for half my team.

^^^^ I'd decline that trade as well in a ppr league.

don't worry about having two lions, they pass moreI than anyone in the league. I'd bet Bush ends up with 1500 yards of offense. I also like shorts over Moore.

^^ DO IT

^ meh, I like your wrs better than your rbs, but I'm not on the gio love train everybody else is on. i do like dunbar as a backup tho.

I've got my draft for a new league I got roped into tonight. 10 Teams, standard scoring (2RB, 2WR, 1FL), I pick 9th. I only know 2 people in the league, and they pick 7 and 8. So I am fairly confident I know how they will draft, but the 6 before them is a crap shoot.

Assuming that everyone before me goes RB, I am hoping to grab Spiller with my first pick (9). Worst case scenario, I can grab Alfred Morris or McCoy. I expect a rush on QB's in the late 2nd/3rd round, so I hope to get Aaron Rodgers with my 2nd pick (12). But there is usually some joker that takes a QB in the first round, so I will have to play it by ear. 3rd round RB, 4th round WR.......then just kind of feel everything else out as we go.

I need a RB for a bye week and this is what is still available.

L. Bell (PIT)
C. Ivory (NYJ)
R. Mendenhall (ARI)
S. Vereen (NE)
B. Brown (PHI)
J. Dwyer (PIT)
K. Moreno (DEN)
F. Jackson (BUF)

Any suggestions or should I just wait until the season starts to see who steps up?
