Yeah, but you can't say Wade doesn't look so much healthier and better this year. Because the East is so, so bad Wade is also going to sit a lot of games and play 20 minutes in a lot of others. By the time the playoffs come around and they need him Wade will be rested and healthy, which they did not have last year.12/6/2013 4:00:25 PM |

Man this kobe deal has potential to be the worst contract in nba history. Im not certain he can return to the level of even an average nba 2 guard.
His defense already sucked, his athleticism was waning, his ahot selection is terrible, and his turnovers were problematic.
First game back and he goes 2-9 fg with 8 turnovers? Yikes.
Why the hell didnt they wait until after the season to negotiate? Something is fishy here 12/9/2013 7:37:44 PM |

Had to be a huge wake up call to the Blazers that the Heat did them in their own house without the best player in basketball. 12/29/2013 9:48:26 AM |

Blazers have been pulling games out of their ass all season. They're still a top team...but they should probably have about 3 or 4 more losses.
Sometimes you forget that Bosh was once a pretty bad-ass player and had some monster games in Toronto. Wade had a pretty sub-par game until the 4th when he had a couple nasty slams reminiscent of 2006 Wade. 12/29/2013 9:56:47 AM |

Here's the thing about the Blazers. Lillard is a great penetrator but he is fucking terrible finishing around the basket. So in the postseason teams will stop collapsing on him and leaving Wes Matthews and Batum wide open to hit every single shot they take. 12/30/2013 6:36:01 PM |

So the Cavs traded Bynum and a few draft picks for Luol Deng last night. Interesting trade and it makes the Cavs roster a bit more formidable. But they are a mess this year so I've got to believe there is a long-term plan associated with this trade (ahem LeBron) 1/7/2014 6:15:52 AM |

Chi probably lose patience to Rose already. So they are gonna rebuild the team. Cha has a good chance to surpass Chi then. 1/7/2014 5:21:44 PM |
face All American 8503 Posts user info edit post |
Nah the rebuilding thing is just dumb story the media made up because they have some weird obsession with Derrick Rose.
see: MVP the year he wasn't even that good and certainly not a top 5 MVP candidate.
They did the same thing with Iverson. And they do the same thing with Westbrook. The media loves guys who score points and they LOVE little guys who score points. They could care less if most of their shots go in or not.
This move saved them $20M in luxury tax and they aren't a good team this year so it makes total sense. Deng was a free agent and is going to command a good size salary from some dumb team who doesn't realize he's just been okay like the last 4-5 years now. They've got a stud in Jimmy Butler that will command a near max contract and he's the key to building a contender.
It's crazy how many great young SF are in the league right now and notice that all the teams hoping to contend are going after them so they can guard Lebron.
You've got teams building around Lance Stephenson in Indiana, Kawhi in SAS, and Butler in Chicago. All very young and already playing at an all-star level and proven playoff performers.

Ribs All American 10713 Posts user info edit post |
I think they are getting good feedback. It's really for the fan though. A lot of people don't feel comfortable wearing a tank top jersey around, and the sleeves make it a little more normal for adults.
Also, I'm just guessing, but i wouldn't be surprised one bit to see some advertising show up on the sleeve soon. It's just a matter of time. 1/17/2014 9:04:59 AM |
