Quote : | "^^Pulling for a team that relies heavily on referee influence? Are you also a UNC or Duke fan by any chance?" |
How dare you.
Not referee influence, referee consistency. Calling the same foul in the 1st quarter that you call in the 4th quarter, both ways, fairly (opposite of what favors Duke/UNC). Playoffs Game 7, wouldn't be suprised if refs let them play physical, but that favors the young athletic Clippers.
I pull for the Spurs. Skills, experience, fundamentals, team ball... I'm definitely a fan. Duncan and Kawhi especially, play the game the way it should be played. No showboating, no bitching about fouls, no flopping. Kawhi posterizes someone and doesn't give a shit he just hustles back on defense.
The Clippers, on the other hand... you have a skill-less athletic freak in DeAndre that can't shoot freethrows, Chris Paul who is playing insane but punched Jules in the Jewels and is a whiney bitch... JJ Redick who is a Duke douche (but I respect skilled shooting). Clippers suck. 5/5/2015 11:14:05 AM |

I'm not sure how anyone can be a Clippers fan. They're a bunch of trash talking, whining dbags. They are thoroughly unlikeable and they haven't won shit, aside from a 1st round series against a hobbled Spurs team. I really hope they beat Houston and the Warriors take care of Memphis, so GSW can pick them apart like they did for 3/4 games this season.

I like Blake Griffin. I don't hate Paul like I did when he was at Wake...and he's a phenomenal point guard. Deandre Jordan is a beast and Reddick is also one of those "I hated him in college...he's not so bad in the NBA". Matt Barnes is a huge bitch...but every team has one or two of those.
Tim Duncan and Ginobili whine just as much, if not more, than anyone in the league. So that's not a good reason to hate a team.
Watching Paul and Griffin is fun. I want to watch fun teams. I hope the Clippers and Warriors meet in the Western Conference finals and it goes to 7 games with several overtime games. That would be awesome. 5/5/2015 11:49:55 AM |

Duncan will hold his arms up and look around occasionally if he gets hacked.
Compared to other stars of his caliber he is easily the least whiney/bitchey 5/5/2015 1:44:52 PM |

^ You must not watch a lot of Spurs games. It is well known that Duncan never commits a foul and reacts pretty much every time he is called for one. He's easily one of the top 5 whiners/complainers in the NBA. 5/5/2015 1:47:13 PM |

Yeah its pretty clear we've seen peak LeBron. Nba players peak at 25 typically then maintain until about 28.
It's all downhill from there though the guys with size and shooting maintain better than undersized or who rely too much on athleticism.
He's played a ton of games and minutes in his career. That's why he knew to get the hell out of Miami and get somewhere where he wouldn't have to do everything offensively.
He took the size off to help him age more gracefully but it's really affected his numbers on offense 5/5/2015 1:49:49 PM |

^^ Actually yes defensively. That is true when he gets called for a foul. The classic arms raised and Duncan face.
He always hustles back on defense though, not one of the "AND ONE" yelling flopping whiners on the offensive side like the other superstars. 5/5/2015 3:51:16 PM |

The idea that lebron is getting old is scary not in the sense of basketball but in the sense of how old we are aging watching basketball. Guys younger than us are starting to be considered old and guys we grew up watching play college are now considered ancient. 5/5/2015 5:04:47 PM |

Quote : | "he was 0/5 and they said he just didnt have it going tonight but no. You have to get him going. Great players dont say "he doesnt have it going" but they do things to get him going." |
i thought it had to be about splash brothers maybe it was but no one went 0/5. Could have been about another series though.5/6/2015 9:03:33 AM |

You don't intentionally try to a bank 3 unless it's a full court heave. Lucky shot but he lined it up and made it.

Love how rose almost blows the game by calling isos all down the stretch and missing everything. Goes 10-26 from the field like a scrub and banks in a lucky shot and the narrative is that rose is back.
The reality is that without kevin love, John wall, and a healthy al horford the east is as weak as its ever been.
This might be the bulls last shot. Rose is no longer productive and Noah is no longer a superstar. Gasoline is washed up. Mirotic and Taj are at their peak and butler has maybe a little minor improvement left. And thibs will be fired clearly at the end of the year.
But the clippers and warriors will drag their balls across the bulls face and rose will be exposed as the below average pg he is. If he doesn't submarine them prior to that.
This is his last chance I expect. His body has just given out on him unfortunately. He was always severely overrated but now he just kinda sucks and it's sad to see

I couldnt say it because they were so dominant all season in one of the toughest conferences ever, but i couldnt help thinking about a jump shooting team having trouble winning it all. The heat strugggled with no big man but lebron is the only player who could have willed that type of roster through. He and wase were prolific in the paint and the heat were more dynamic on defense. This gs team is loaded but can they win 11 more if you dont get 50+ from splash bros? 5/10/2015 10:58:26 AM |

Huge game today. I expect rose to play really poorly on short rest as Kyrie has an explosive 30+ point performance.
Gasol being hurt helps the bulls but I just think Thompson comes to play today. 12 pts 16 rebs
LeBron needs to come out shooting to get comfortable. I think he's too concerned with attacking the basket which plays to the bulls strengths. Let Kyrie attack this series. 5/10/2015 3:32:24 PM |

Im talking about post players. None of those guys are post players Gs has plenty of good big men but wade and lebron are the only decent post players on either team.
joel anthony and udonis haslem were key guys for miami i mean come on. They could hit a 10 footer but you couldnt throw it to them and go to work lebron and wade had to generate everything. curry and thompson arent that type of player. They are shooters
