he didn't do anything wrong in that particular race. sellers came down on him.

plenty of asshat douchebags get rides in higher tier series, but they're either some polished pretty boy, have a ride-buying rich daddy, or a famous last name. pulliam is doing alright for himself. not saying he's not an asshat, but he's good at what he does and makes a living doing something most of us can only dream of.

^^ In the context of the Chase, Truex keeping the win from the standpoint of advancing on is moronic. I get NASCAR's whole thing of "not changing the winner after people left the track", but in this instance he can keep the win, get a points penalty, and they say the win doesn't advance him to the next round.

anyone seen "cone restarts" implemented at any local short tracks? i was watching some video from the 602 limited series and they are using them. it's kinda like a delaware restart in that the leader is alone in the front row and the rest of the field is double file behind him. the difference is, with 1 to go under caution, they stick a traffic cone on the start/finish line and 2nd place on back drive inside or outside of the cone, which determines which lane they will restart in. it's really neat at tracks with one groove. say 2nd, 3rd, and 4th all choose the bottom, then 5th could chance it on the outside and get to restart on the outside of the 2nd row right behind the leader. makes things really interesting.

^that would be better for sure. another thing they could do is just say ALL odd placed cars got lane choice not just the leader.

busch race got rained out so we get a double header today. little douche and couple other cup drivers pulled out of earlier race. i like to hear that, we should do this more often.

I thought USAC just let 2nd place choose inside or outside. What I'm talking about is when everyone (except the leader who is out front by himself) gets to choose their lane. A guy can move up quick if he's willing to take the less popular lane and can make it stick.

Penske and Ganassi both wanted to get their hands on Newgarden before he got tied up somewhere else, and Newgarden already punted one year for this decision. You look at Penske's lineup from this past season, and it's not hard to see who's out.

Montoya - 8th

Montoya won the series opener, and for the rest of the year had two 3rds.

trucks and busch homestead were awesome, such a great track for a mile n half. i love it when rim riding is the fastest way

if smoke gets a top 10 today he will retire with exactly 50% top 10s in cup. 309 of 618. thats pretty good considering danica only has 4% top 10s in 153 starts
