Bottom of the 8th, hit by pitch and a single puts 2 on, then a guy who has been struggling all tournament hits a 2-RBI double. 6-1 GT.

Tech loaded the bases up, wild pitch scores another. 7-1.

Third single in a row puts it at 9-1.

That was one of the strangest things I've ever seen happen...ball went behind the player's head, hit the back of the bat, which then ricocheted the ball into the batter's head, and then the ball bounced into fair territory. Ump called it a fair ball, runner out at 1st (while he was laying on the ground at home plate).

Play reviewed and call stood, but it shouldn't have.

Top of 9th, walk and then double makes it 9-2.

Game over.

Why was lawson mcarthur in this game? Batting .197 on the season and proved tonight that he doesnt belong in ACC baseball and why hes batting under .200. Just so happened he came up in the situations where we had runners on.

Oh well, UNC will take our hosting when they win the tournament tomorrow.

UNC won the ACC, NC State won 1 game in the ACC tournament. The only people who think State should host a regional over UNC are homer State fans with blinders on. They're in all likelihood the same ones who think the entire ACC office is out to get them.

If UNC had been outside of the top-25 before the tournament I'd understand the disgruntlement. But they were #17, we were #15, and we lost. Makes sense the two would at the very least switch places, but I have a feeling they went a little higher and we went a little lower than that. GT, Louisville, UNC, and Miami will all finish higher in the RPI than us.

Wilson, Bailey, Edwards is exactly who we want up right now...assuming we get to eventually finish the inning.

I seem to remember us getting screwed over in either the ACC or NCAA tournament not too long ago when a rain delay wasn't called until right after the other team took the lead on a couple of terrible sloppy plays that wouldn't have happened if it wasn't raining.

Crazy that not a single one of Campbell's runs was earned. Only one of ours was. So without errors this game would potentially have been 1-0 us right now.

^You are thinking of the regional game against Coastal the year they went on to win it all. The field was so wet that they hit the ball back towards the mound and it stopped dead giving them an infield hit leaving the bases loaded or something like that. Then we blew it the next day by hitting a batter with 2 outs and an 0-2 count
