Giglio likes to talk about state always subverting expectations and I think I was more excited about last years roster, even with Justin saying everybody sucks, so maybe my worry means great things! I'm worried about the perimeter defense and paint offense.

Free year for Gainey though, to an extent.

I think expect not much of anything from Whitty, Brim or Emuobor. I assume Keene will play but how bad will his lack of O hurt? Maybe he'll play when Evans is out to shore up D? For backing up Evans, guess it will be Wilkins or Hall but Hall is just Juco, and if Wilkins was ready why did we need Hall? I guess Adams has some pedigree and could step up

Yeah I like the roster on paper. Decent depth across the board imo. Never know how these guys will translate at a new school and new level of competition. We’ve got some obvious scorers on the roster. A couple of defense first guys. Probably final four bound!

That game was set up with WW and his staff pushing for it.

VCU just got a new coach now and the WW connection is no longer there so I'm assuming its based on that and the fact that VCU might not be as good next year so we are looking non-con that will help our end of year NET, RPI, etc

I don’t think playing at VCU was gonna hurt next years NET and SOS. Doesn’t mean we can’t replace it with something better but if it’s purely about improving SOS I’m pretty sure there’s weaker opponents that could’ve been bought out.

Sounds like neutral court (Greensboro) vs UNC is happening. Cool. And good. I think ^ still stands. @VCU would have still been a good game for NET and SOS purposes. Could’ve replaced something else with this game.
