i got caught in a God awful torrential thunderstorm just a couple of hours ago leaving north raleigh....


i had to run across a huge parking lot barefooted and in a dress

i was completely soaked from head to toe and never got above 45 on the belt line and i was still passing cars...

it was ruff

in the last 20mins it has steadily moved south towards us

it's not a time-lapse map, so no - it doesn't currently show it moving that way

but every time i look at that map it gets closer and closer to us

the wral doppler shows it going north east in the hour loop and i hope it keeps doing that
