This is all so confusing... how did we shut these guys out? Is our defense really that good? If that's what it is, we could be a stellar team with a decent offense.. oh well.

Hopefully Tech can bring it back.

We held this team to zero points.

I just want to say that again, NC State held this Tarheel team to zero points.

They're knocking on the door of their second TD in the first quarter against the number 8 team in the country. Granted that the first one was a gimme but this one is all them.

At least right until they fumbled it as I was typing this. Go Hokies!

I still don't know what the hell that call was all about.

I couldn't tell if he kicked the QB while he was down, smacked him in the crotch, or just made too good of a tackle and that was Cherry's version of a compliment.

Looking around online, all of those definitions fit.

So apparently the key for UNC in scoring is to get the ball on their opponents 20 yard line. Good thing we didn't make that mistake against them!!!

I don't know that I'd go that far. I could easily see a fan of say a #1 LSU getting stoked to chalk up another win against a cupcake like Charleston Southern starting to get this nervous look of panic on their face upon learning that Cherry will be officiating. At that point all bets are off.

I'd rather see a healthy Oregon rematch with LSU over Alabama. Am I the only one in the world who is thinking that.

Alabama lost a true home game with a full team. Oregon lost a de facto road game with out their best player for most of the game.

I definitely don't want to see an Alabama vs LSU rematch. I think it would be awesome if VT or Clemson could sneak into the championship game. Especially VT; I want to see Beamer get a national championship.

But I don't think the BCS (computers and voters) is ready to put a 1 loss ACC team above the other 1 loss teams. Its a little silly that an Oklahoma team, which got bitch slapped by Texas Tech, is in front of a VT team who's 1 loss came against a top ten team.
