I was totally shocked they killed the govenor. awesome but wow, that character didn't last long!


oh and one minute Sookie is mad at Warlow for making a contract for her and the next she's fucking him.... not that I'm complaining but it seemed a bit disjointed and poorly acted (until the straddling him part, she's got that down pat! )

Every time the Asian woman actually had to fight Sarah she was whooping her ass. But then she decides to run away...in HEELS? Take off your damn shoes. And why did she initially run away through a different door than the one she came in through? Hey Sarah just tried to break your neck (hilarious btw) but let's go running through a doorway and down some hall that you've never seen before. How about you just beat Sarah till she's unconscious and then call up the Feds, or whoever.

And what's up with Alcide turning back into his old self out of the blue. Last time he saw Sam he said he'd kill him. Then he goes to see Sam and they're old drinking buddies again. Lol wut?

Otherwise loved the Eric stuff at the end

That scene was hilarious. Cringe worthy I guess, but I was laughing my ass off and the "praise Jesus" after she straight up stabbed her in the head with her stiletto--brilliant. Loved it.

Only thing I got for Alcide is the V finally wore off and he got over his power trip.

I too hated the funeral and I thought it was silly that the governor's daughter was going all hippy crazy like the other vampires about being in the sunlight. She's been a vampire for like a week.

That's exactly what I thought. All they had to do was walk out of the room. It's not like he was feeding every vampire in the prison, which he would have to if he was worried about them getting out of the prison. Plus, if he was just trying to feed them to leave the prison, why would you bother risking the sun at all when you can take a few steps into the other room and do the feeding there without risk. It really didn't make any sense no matter how you look at it.


But as nonsensical as that was, this was my biggest "uh.. wait a minute!" moment: Jason running off after Sarah Newlin. All of the vampires Jason knows were in that room. The rest of the vampires (a shit ton of them) had to still be in the prison because it was daylight outside. So we know they hadn't left. We also know that a lot of them were torturing and killing the humans. Also, Jason was a guard there which made him even more of a target. I think he may have still been wearing part of the uniform as well. The only people that knew he wasn't really a guard were Sarah Newlin, Jessica, and presumably Tara (maybe Pam in turn). The female vampires know he was thrown in with them, but I'm not sure they knew why. And the males didn't have a clue. Shit, I'm not sure that Eric even knew that he was actually a guard there considering the way he had behaving when they last saw each other.

How dumb is it to go running through the prison with all of that going on without a vampire with you to say that you're with them? And what are the odds that he made it from that room all the way to outside without encountering vampires? Eric and him had passed quite a few going toward the room.

But hey, it's trueblood. Asking for it to be reasonably sensible is probably asking too much.

I'll agree about the "feeding on Bill" thing, first thought I had was "uh, open the door and get out of the sun instead?" I think they wanted Bill to become like a hero to the vampires(vampire Jesus), but I wonder now how Bill wouldn't be completely out of the Lillith blood, so not sure if he'll still be super vampire. I also thought drinking fairy blood let you bask in the son for a very limited amount of time, they seemed to just be taking their time and frolicking a little too long.

^The amount of time it took Jason to go from inside the room to outside(before she could make it down the stairs) makes me think somehow the room and the exit were fairly close together. Though with him coming out of the door across the parking lot, and her being directly above the room would make me think he had to at least run down a hallway or two. Perhaps enough of the male vampires saw Jason tagging along with Eric to know that he wasn't a threat, still a bit of a risk, but Jason has never been the sharpest tool in the shed.

I thought about the longevity of the blood as well considering Eric killed and drained a full blown faerie in season 4, but after a full day it began to wear off. I think there's something based on the drs inability to make a synthetic faerie blood from Andy's daughters versus the blood that comes from a faerie having been made vampire. Iirc while the dr hadn't made a synthetic yet, it was more stable than the full faerie blood.
