course curriculum is about making resumes regarding job skills and stuff...sounds like a class for volleyball players who will never make money going pro in their sport

Andrew Jones (triangle area journalist) was on some radio show earlier today...he basically said that the NCAA wasn't going to do anything since they deemed UNC's no-show classes an academic issue and not an NCAA issue...was kind of disappointing to me...but then he said that 'The Carolina Way' was basically a joke and no UNC fan/grad should ever mention it again...that made me smile

Can't speak for every major but that's pretty much true for engineering as long as you do the work and show some basic understanding of the material. However, the subject matter and workload for those classes is extremely difficult.

Renner is not bad. He's not great but not bad. Plus Bernard is good and the oline is decent. I also think they will have a Chad Morris type period where no one really knows what they are going to do so the offense will benefit. Basically they will have a good offense and they still have some talent on defense.

Renner led the conference in passing efficiency last year. The guy doesn't suck. Bernard might be the conference POY.

It's going to be tough for us to beat them this year. Just hoping we're in their head and they blow it like two years ago.

UNC will need a lot of luck to get to 5-3 in conference, I'd guess 4-4 with losses to Wake, State, UVA, and GT. They may very well lose to Louisville and ECU out of conference as well. Their only 4 easy wins are Idaho, Elon, Maryland, and Duke.

We'll see how well Renner does this year without Dumbass Dwight Jones to chuck it up to.

Renner was decent when he had time. He was HORRIBLE when rushed. Which is the case for most QBs...but he made some downright awful throws last year. He was also bailed out by Jones a lot last year (guy was an idiot...but also a beast) and they also won't have speedster Thorpe for at least the beginning of the year. Bernard is probably the best RB in the ACC, but he had injury problems last year, which will only multiply if he really is returning kicks.

Their defense HAD a lot of talent...and even that talent underperformed. I think they'll have to score a lot of points to have a decent season and I don't think they can consistently do it.
