i have been coveting/stalking/pining over this one purse at wilsons leather for about a year now
i first spotted it at o'hare and couldn't bring myself to pay the price
i saw it again tonight at an outlet mall and scored 40% off the original price
finally! 8/20/2008 10:19:59 PM |

I miss having a shoulder purse but I can't get rid of the louis.
I can't do heels unless I am going out I am tall so I don't need to be taller. And I think my lack of wearing heels just makes it worse when I do wear them. 8/20/2008 10:21:40 PM |

Love the new one - I'm not much for logos (I've carried a Kate Spade Oliver for eons for this reason)...
Very cute! I bet it's all soft & mushy, huh?!? 8/20/2008 10:51:33 PM |

im not big on logos either and hate the classic pattern coach style but the pic i linked is different to me because it has different shades and they're not in a patterned fashion, the second i saw it i loved it
and yes the new purse is very soft :-)
reminds me of my other 2 nine wests -- but i got those at ross for $20 a pop
im on a huge sling back peep toe heel kick lately but i'm so picky about colors and fabric/materials i have only found one pair. they have a knot at the top which i really like. i dont like having nothing there which makes finding pairs i like exceedingly difficult
good thing i found a pair on sale for $40 at nine west
^ i paid an obscene amount of money for it. i know its just a purse and what not but spilling the drink on it would have easily ruined the purse and i've only had it a year

I have this top I want to wear. the 1st pic is w/o a bra the 2nd with a bra. BUT I don't want to look slutted out.
I am planing to wear it for a date with my bf in chicago. We will prob be eating at a place like maggianos and then going on a firework cruise. I will wear my hair out with these cute lace pattern earrings. I was thinking it will look elegant with some sass ....but need an opinion and if anyone has use the adhesive bra b/c I think with my bra its too much cleavage. 8/21/2008 3:46:23 PM |

You will be JUST fine with the bra.
That's not slutty, or too much cleavage at all 8/21/2008 3:49:42 PM |
DivaBaby19 Davidbaby19 45208 Posts user info edit post |
No offense, but you don't have enough cleavage for it to be TOO much ya know?
That looks just fine, so wear the bra! 8/21/2008 3:54:56 PM |
GoldenGirl All American 6475 Posts user info edit post |
no thats completely fine for me the top was just a bit more risky for me i just thought less cleavage would be more classy 8/21/2008 4:09:40 PM |

The long dip in the front is what will take away the classy part ya know? It's still a great dress and will look fine with a bra!
Wear it and flaunt it 8/21/2008 4:13:27 PM |

The second picture looks fine, except the clear strap!! The adhesive boobs work really good, I got one from victoria secret and love it. 8/21/2008 4:29:15 PM |

yeah, does it work just as well without the clear straps? or could you at least make them so that they go over the shoulders instead of halter?
when has cleavage ever been a BAD thing? and it isn't much cleavage...believe me. 8/21/2008 5:33:27 PM |

I don't know...I think the natural look appears better around your collar bones, considering your body frame... Do you think that the shirt is cut too low b/c perhaps you might be too petite for it? I'm barely 5"2 and I have that problem all of the time... 8/21/2008 5:36:06 PM |
alibaby All American 8217 Posts user info edit post |
let us know how they work out or better yet, post a pic with them on (if you can waste 2 of them that is). 8/21/2008 5:36:33 PM |

NCSUWolfy, Do you sit for most of the day? I'd die a slow death standing for 9-10hrs in slingbacks... much less nine wests. I've never had a pair of shoes from them I could stand in all day.... or Aldo, or pretty much any 'standard' brand I can think of.
I'd like to know who(if anyone) stands as much in their day as I do? If yay - who wears heels? If still yay - what brand? Maybe it's just my feet, but I'm super picky on the fit of a shoe, and standard order from Zappos is 5 or 6 pairs to maybe find one that is suitable.... have never purchased shoes 'just because they were cute.'
I don't like outward labels, but my shoes are where I spend the money... Most people have no clue what brands my heels are, but at the end of the day - my feet dont hurt and that is all I really care about.
I usually wear about a 1.75-2.75 inch heel, stacked as opposed to stiletto (though I do have 2 of those that fit like a glove), and some of the craziest ones I've tried fit the best. 8/21/2008 11:55:37 PM |

Yeah, that strap thing looks tacky imo but you look beautiful with and without the bra
and ^ my best friend is a hardresser and works 12 days on her feet and wears nothing but heals. She loves working in her fluevogs and many of her co-works wear them as well. She also has some stewart weitzman's that work well for her also.

CRAZY designs - some better than others.... I suppose I'll add that about 87% of my shoe 'collection' is black, b/c I wear black practically every day. Stuart Weitzman makes a good shoe, have several pairs of them.
Pretty fun, if they're comfy (look like they'd be OK but you never know till you try....) They aren't on the Zappos brand list, which makes me sad - I love the free ship/return deal so I have more selection and don't have to go all around town finding things.
