I'm not talking about air-brushing and massive post production.

I'm talking about taking flattering pictures, in good light, without ugly shit in the background and in focus.

Metricula and Sawahash do a decent job in terms of pose and composition. ncsuwolfy's photos are horrible, they don't do justice to her in any way. Neither do almost any of the others in here.

That's why I'm glad it's a panel.

And I wasn't under the impression the quality of the photo itself was in question. Most of us are taking our own pictures and know nothing about photography.
I think the goal is to do what you need to do in order the take the most flattering pictures of yourself that you can. If it's a good picture of the girl, it's a good picture of the girl. If it's not a good picture, then it won't be quite as flattering.

lol, some phones have really bad ass cameras on them actually. and i think one of those that i'm thinking about is a sony ericsson

most cellphones are dang near incapable of taking an actual good picture.

same with webcams... and most of the time without a place with already good lighting, its hard to get a good pic out of a point and shoot digital.
