How can you say, with 100% confidence, that John McCain is not a zombie?

Lots of things imply lots of things.

Pointing out Obama's middle name implies something with certain people too (and I don't even know what McCain's middle name is).

what exactly are some of Ayers' radical views that have shaped Obama?

Obama does seem bomb-happy on Pakistan, but I can't see the right disagreeing with that.

Why doesn't McCain's affection for Gordon Liddy mean anything? or his involvement in the Keating 5?

Hey, you actually distilled your argument into something! Of course, it is something that you cannot prove and no one can disprove.

oh, the keating 5? you mean the scandal where democrats tried to find a republican scapegoat so it wouldn't look as bad for them? who was that scapegoat...

^ but, it's still pretty damning, especially given how the two conveniently keep popping up together over the years... still, Obama was brought forth by the corrupt Chicago political system, so there's nothing much worse that you can say about him than that alone

Ayers on Obama Bush:

Quote :
"Asked about President Bush's ability to connect with voters, Ayers said: "Well, he's very charming, and charm does get you pretty far in American politics. It's kind of frightening."

I guess terrorists might know what they're talking about after all

it's hard to say, moron. Ayers might have taught Obama some of his ill-formed policies, but it's to pinpoint how much crazy is innate in Obama.

Actually, it's impossible to say.

Which is why guilt by association is dumb. So keep on clinging to it. Meanwhile, Obama will continue talking about solutions to the economy, and widening his margin of victory.

Man, Republicans are getting bitter as crap. Didn't you guys used to accuse us of that?

Again..can someone explain how putting socialist Obama in charge of the economy is going to fix anything? Socialism has never worked.

What do you think he is going to do for you besides give everyone a larger, more centralized state?

If you think his one trillion dollar spending plans will only rape the richest taxpayers..you're dreaming. Once in office, he will claim the problem is bigger than he thought (ala Clinton) and we need a massive tax increase on most everyone.

Individual economic freedom? Forget it! The new definition of patriotism will be paying your higher taxes with a smile. This guy thinks the whole purpose of taxes is to make life fair.

Have you been chummy with an unapologetic terrorist who, years after you’d known and worked closely with him, was still telling the New York Times he regretted only failing to carry out more attacks — and that America still “makes me want to puke”?

Barack Obama has. "

^^ I'm not surprised that you don't get the point. Obama's first fucking interaction with people at his campaign website is to beg for money. That, in itself, says enough about him to make me understand that he is a horrible candidate. I need read no further. At least McCain lets me see other shit as he's begging me for money. Not surprising that you can't see such a blatantly bad thing about your messiah

Ok, then you're too inept to use a basic user interface.

Notice the "skip to site" button? Eh? Was that too difficult to use?

BTW, Obama just hooked up everyone with a free iPhone app that includes his entire platform. Aww... did McCain not get around to that? Maybe when he learns how to send an email he'll have someone get on it.

because his intentions were for a greater good and the university can see that. If it was on some timmy mcvay or unibomber kill a bunch of people mindset then he wouldn't be there. Plus universities encourage open minded frames of thought and bright minds without actually backing the opinions of all their faculty. The same way Columbia University was delighted to have ackmendinajaspell come talk.

so having a republican president, and republican congress for 6 years is "not enough support"?

Weren't you righties bragging recently about how most presidents in the past 40 years have been republican?

so how exactly is it you'll "never get enough support" when you've had the perfect storm of support for the past couple of years?

Does not logically follow.

The governments policies will likely drift towards the left, yes. But a socialist country that does not make. It means that the hybrid capitalist/socialist country has drifted towards the left.

Where on this splash page is he asking for money? Yes "email and zip code so we can send you his plan" is the same as "GIVE ME SOME FUCKING MONEY!"

It's ironic that you're complaining that you can't find his policy plans because his first page is asking for money, when in fact, his first page is asking your for your contact information so he can directly send you his policy plans

gee, you know, it looks a bit like another page.....

First, the defense was of Obama and that Ayers did not have an influence on him because they weren't close at all.

Now the defense has become, "oh his comments are taken out of context" and "his bombings were for a greater good."

Are you all seriously listening to yourselves? Defend Obama all you want and argue there was no relationship/influence but how can you seriously defend Ayers and his actions?

Unfortunately, there will not be a "skip my ass-raping taxes" button under an Obama presidency.

Well, when those "republicans" are no more conservative than the guys on the other side of the aisle... Yeah, there will never be enough actual support to overturn the welfare state. Especially when more than half of the voters keep trying to vote themselves more goodies on the remainder's dime.

^^ hey, dickface, I'm talking about website as I experienced it the last time I went there. That was, frankly, understood. Good work being a fucking moron.

Seriously..he is way more socialist than those two posers. His response when asked why he wants to raise taxes on the rich is because it's fair. From each according to his ability to each according to his need. Each time a politician tells you you have more money than you need- you've entered the Twi-Marx Zone.

While running for state senate in 1996, Obama recieved the endorsement of the Chicago branch of the Democratic Socialists of America. Obama showed up in Vermont to support the candidacy of self-proclaimed socialist Bernie Saunders.

I think Bush and McCain are both big-gov't politicians, but they don't hold a candle to Obama who probably prides himself on the fact that he has never spent a moment on the private sector side.
