Someone on the radio said that the Canes basically play the same every night, it's just that winning and losing is dependent entirely on the quality of the other team and what kind of night they're having (hence we spank TB and get spanked by Boston). I'm starting to agree with that.

The Avs are in last place in the Western Conference. They're also just 6 points out of a playoff spot. We have to continue what we did against the Isles and Tampa and beat the teams that we are supposed to beat. We can't afford to drop games like this afternoon or Tuesday in Ottawa.
