I love the reaction of on-coming traffic on roads where there is only (1) set of 'tracks'

passed two people this morning that tried to get closer to the shoulder, ending up fishtailing a number of times... so I parked it until they passed by.

I like running over the snow mounds to crush them and make them melt faster.

Shoveling the several feet of snow to get a car out of the side of 440... tons of fun!

Amazing how the farmer's almanac has predicted all of this...pretty spot on.

Welp, all that snow and ice in the Aiken, SC area caused a tree to fall on the house that I own down there. I'll be making a trip there tomorrow to see what needs to be done.

DavidBaby once got blackout drunk and confessed to me that she actually loved cargo shorts

But she said she'd never admit it when she is sober

My phone was showing chance of snow next weekend, but that looks to have changed to just rain/thunderstorms. Think we're done with the winter weather.

Quote :
"Usually a track into Washington, Oregon, or California would tell what the weather will do across the country. This is why watching your downstream activity is so important, because it is two to three days from the Eastern United States and if confidence in the track can be made for the Western USA two to three days out, confidence can be made nearly a week out for the Eastern United States. Living in Los Angeles where I do has the advantage for knowing what will happen on the other side of the country with confidence.

So this will be the next focus. As a major storm comes into California on Friday, the storm will create a surface low coming out of the Gulf across the Southeastern United States … and moving up through the northeast. Exact track is unknown at this time, however the nor’easter track is going to be read for business for the eastern half of the country during the first week of March.

In addition to this, a major ice storm will hit some spots of the Central/Eastern USA … again where exactly is not known but areas as far west as Texas and Oklahoma need to remain alert …
"

all kinds of fail in that

"I can confidently predict what's going to happen.

I'm not sure exactly what's going to happen, but I'm confident that something might happen.

probably. for sure."
