ok, two things:

1. He bailed on Xavier following an E8 and a S16. Obviously Arizona is not Xavier, but this was a pipe dream from the start and it's still not over depending on how sweet that offer we put out is

2. Derrick Williams is gone now. I mean, he probably was anyway but I had heard he was having a tough time making a decision even though he was getting such good feedback.

Carolina went from Matt Doherty to who got them a great recruiting class and had a terrible record with them and was a former UNC player who actually played against Sidney Lowe TO ROY FRIGGIN WILLIAMS... Who won UNC the national championship with Doherty's recruiting class.... What they did is EXACTLY what could happen if we got Sean Miller (i know that's doubtful and expecting way too much)

Former player from the early 80s now coaching and recently let go Check
Great recruiting class with terrible record Check
Lots of money and lots of possibility due to our new AD & Chancellor Check...

Coach capable of beating Duke possibly looking... Check....

How Carolina bought... i mean built their program is exactly what we could do...

Is it the best thing for the program? will it even happen???
who knows... probably not... but its a dream isn't it?

I also know a big donor who confirmed Yow called and spoke with Miller yesterday morning. I didn't hear anything about the $$ so I don't know if that is true. If we did offer $3.2 M it would be enough for him to at least seriously consider.
