Seriously, try grip/thermal on the L86.

I was skeptical at first if it was as good as advertised, and I tried every other combination of attachments, and nothing even comes close to grip/thermal.

It is literally ridiculous.

i guess that's where i differ in opinion from a bunch of people. i would never want to watch a dude just pub it up in any game or dominate the round solo even in a private infected lobby, which is all he was streaming the 3-4 hrs i was playing with him.

if anything, i would only watch streamed team matchups on objective gametypes, mainly S&D but any of the obj ones are fair game...
i guess i see it as more of a sport where i value awareness of your team, spots that have been cleared, etc. more than just KILL. KILL. GIGGLE GIGGLE. SHOT DED. RESPAWN & REPEAT. which is all i see the other gametypes as haha

i mostly play HC KC

but i dabble in the rest.

After playing hardcore though it sucks going to regular.

1 i verify that the person coming the other way isn't on my team and in regular that can get you killed.

2 i tend to not shoot people long enough. IE... if i hit you in the head @ all you should be dead... then they don't fall over and i'm like FUUUUHHHHH cause i lost the damage war.

i love the L86 now. I've been playing with it for a number of days and have been playing really well. It's made me play slower and that kind of messes me up when I go back to my rushing classes on smaller maps. It's really cut down on my deaths per match too. The L86 is dangerous with a silencer on it. Having Quickdraw or Stalker also negates some of the sluggishness of the LMG, though i started using Marksmen again since I try to keep the enemies at a distance with it.
