Felix Jones @ GB
Mike Tolbert @ HOU
Donald Brown @ PHI

Who to bench out of these three? As it stands I have Tolbert and Brown starting.

should i play
PITTSBURGH D against CINCY
or
CHICAGO D against BUF

i feel like Buffalo will keep it low scoring but Cincy will be handing out free turnovers

what to do??

"who should I start as my WR3? I have Roddy White and Greg Jennings as my #1 and 2 WRs this week.

Pierre Garcon @ Philly
Patrick Crayton @ Hou

I have Garcon penciled in now, even though Wayne, Collie and Tamme will steal some of his looks. Crayton will probably be the #1 WR and will be battling a hurt Antonio Gates for the most receptions...

also,

Jay Cutler @ Buff
Matt Stafford vs. NYJ
Brett Favre ys. Ari
Chad Henne @ Balt
Jon Kitna @ GB
Carson Palmer vs. Pitt

I think I gotta go with Cutler's sorry ass this week due to the matchup alone. And before someone asks, I listed the best players available on the WW, I am not carrying 6 QBs on my roster
"

never got a straight up answer to all this

^ I would go with Pittsburgh's defense. Buffalo has been very competitive against good competition lately (put up 30 points against Ravens and Chiefs).

also, would you start Percy Harvin over Dez Bryant this week? We get points for punt/kickoff return yards, so Bryant has pretty good value...

Harvin's ankle is still injured and he is now the #1 receiver so I dont think he is going to do great. He was limping during warmups.

James Jones should have a good game as the #2 against Dallas.

^^Gates is out now so I'd probably start Crayton. I finally cut ties with Jay two weeks ago, but I too think you have to go with him. What about Josh Freeman @ATL? He's a FA in my 12 team league.

Yeah. He is a lock for 20 points most weeks and I bet he went undrafted in most leagues. Or at least very deep.

Meanwhile, I have Andre Johnson, Brandon Marshall and Jon Stewert in my lineup today. I'm losing 75-22 at halftime. 100 points is a good week in this league, so yeah... not good.

I'm not whining just because I want more fantasy points, but the Texans playcalling amazes me sometimes. Foster was running a buzzsaw on SD's defense every time he touched the ball. However, they decide to grip it and rip it for the entire second half (atleast from what I saw on gamecast).

I cant believe someone who follows fantasy football and seemingly has him on their team, still cannot spell Desean Jackson's name correctly. He's one of the best WRs in football

and I absolutely agree about Tamme, I'm very happy I drank the kool-aid and picked him up in two of my leagues

I've got two leagues wrapped up

in another, I'm down by 5 with Jacob Tamme, Desean Jackson and Austin Collie (LOL) still playing. Also, I have Aaron Rodgers and Pittsburgh's defense left, my opponent has Hines Ward and the Packers Defense left. Hopefully Rodgers goes off and wraps up the win for me

in my 4th league I'm up by 13 with Dez Bryant and Cedric Benson left, he has Carson Palmer, Felix Jones and Jason Witten left. I'm not feeling so hot about that one, might be a nailbiter. Could be looking at another 4-0 week if I pull through though

-------------------------------

Since you dont care about that, how about some advice????

I have Aaron Rodgers, Michael Vick and Big Ben as my QBs in one league. Would it be absolutely ridiculous to trade Aaron Rodgers and Anquan Boldin for Hakeem Nicks and Reggie Wayne? My WRs currently are Desean Jackson, Anquan Boldin, Percy Harvin, Austin Collie, Santana Moss and Malcolm Floyd. I would start Vick or Ben at QB and Wayne, Nicks and DJax at WR every week. My RBs are Frank Gore and Arian Foster. I would go beast mode for the rest of the season

I will likely have a record-setting low point total this week in my Yahoo league. I don't know what the all-time low in my league is (this the 4th year of the league), but surely it can't be lower than 50...and I currently have 27.42 points. And I have Miles Austin and Mike Wallace left to play. This is utterly embarrassing.

In my other league, I'm up by about 40 and have no one left to play...he's got Rodgers and Miles Austin left. Should be down to the wire.

I swear if I wind up losing because of the Packers bogus fumble recovery and touchdown, I'm going to strangle Wade Phillips for not challenging the play. I dont care if he didnt have any timeouts, he shouldve done something to make the booth review the call

thankfully Dez Bryant just helped me build my cushion up to 13 points

looks like I might pull off another 4-0 week

also, how fucking awful is Brent Celek right now?? He didnt record a single reception today. I did see where he had a 40+ yard TD called back for holding, but besides that, he didnt do jack shit

My shitty teams are finally coming alive. Getting guys like Desean back, Turner/Arian/McCoy all playing well at the same time, Eli still playing well, Packers D finally producing like it should, and not having to keep my fingers crossed on hit or miss guys like Lance Moore makes a big difference. Too bad, I still only have a realistic chance to make the playoffs in 1 of my 3 leagues. Worst fantasy season ever. If Randy Moss starts playing well too, then maybe 2 out of 3 leagues.

How many fucking times do we have to say it:

No one cares how good your team is, what your record is, or most importantly how many points you need from Mike Wallace to win.

This thread is about players news and advice...

Might as well tell me about your beloved pet or some shit. Jesus.

I was just offered this trade, what do you think:

I give:
Frank Gore

I get:
Michael Vick
Knowshon Moreno
Sidney Rice

my current lineup is:
QB: Jay Cutler, Matt Stafford
RB: Arian Foster, Frank Gore, Matt Forte, Felix Jones
WR: Roddy White, Randy Moss, Santana Moss, Malcolm Floyd, Pierre Garcon, Steve Breaston
TE: Dustin Keller
DEF/K: Minnesota, Neil Rackers

I would drop Steve Breaston and Felix Jones to make room for the trade to go through. I hate to lose Frank Gore, but I need an upgrade at QB. Knowshon would probably start for me as my RB2 and Sidney Rice could pay off for me if he comes back at full strength soon, especially if Randy Moss plays like an asshole and Malcolm Floyd remains hurt and/or loses receptions to Vincent Jackson.

I just made a trade proposal as well:

I get: McFadden

I give: Harvin, Moreno, and Tony Gonzalez

I'm pretty deep at WR (Reggie Wayne, Hakeem Nicks, Johnson, Colston)...my two main backs are Gore and Bradshaw.

Here's to hoping...

I'm up against the #1 team in our 12-team league right now (7-1)...I've got a 29 point lead with no players left (he has the Steelers D/ST and Palmer to play tonight)

^^^, like ^^ said, be careful Knowshon Moreno. He's on one of my teams. Pretty inconsistent so far. But that would definitely be an upgrade at QB for you. I know Sidney Rice has been taken off the PUP list, but is there a timetable for when he'll actually play?

here is the latest news on Sidney Rice

Quote :
"Coach Brad Childress reiterated that Sidney Rice (hip) is "close" to returning to action.
Rice reportedly looked healthier than Percy Harvin prior to Sunday's game against the Cardinals. "While I don't think he's 100 percent, we just have to see if we feel like he can play outside (next week at Chicago)," Childress said Sunday night. The Vikings return home to the turf in Week 11. Rice should be rostered in all formats."

also some news on Matt Stafford:

Quote :
"Matthew Stafford will have an MRI on his right (throwing) shoulder Monday morning.
The concern is that Stafford re-separated the AC joint, an injury that cost him five games earlier this season. Another full separation would be a worst-case scenario and could put Stafford's season in jeopardy. Stafford has thrown for six touchdowns with one interception over the last two weeks, temporarily validating the breakout hype that surrounded him prior to the season"

finally, Matt Moore has been placed on the IR and is done for the season, same with Dan Conner and Thomas Davis. The Panthers are going to be battling for the #1 pick in next years draft - which they will probably trade to pick up Armanti Edward's backup at App State

^^I would stick with what you have. Bradshaw is a rock solid RB2 to play alongside Frank Gore. RunDMC might be better, but I wouldnt give up Harvin to get him. Harvin has been nasty lately

I'm not sure what to do with Steve Smith (CAR) at the moment. Sadly enough, I'm actually considering dropping him for a waiver wire pickup right now. Matt Moore sucks, but Clausen has been worse if that is even possible.

I'm looking pretty vulnerable at WR right now (Pierre Garcon, Mike Williams TB, Steve Smith CAR, Johnny Knox) and I'm not sure how to dig myself out of it. I really need Malcom Floyd to get healthy and come back strong. Not confident that will happen.
