By making this statement, you and all of the other people on IC who have slandered PRTM-degrees at State have done so despite the fact that many on IC have comparable Recreation Management degrees from UNC (academic major was slashed considerably in the early part of the last decade) and despite the fact that UNC also has an undergraduate and graduate degree in sport administration (which is where 60% of the PRTM majors at State focus, sport management). I am a 3rd Gen. Tar Heel with a BA from UNC in Psychology, and I also have earned 2 graduate degrees in PRTM from NC State. Laugh all you want; Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management is a legitimate applied management field with bright and talented faculty who research ways to utilize sport and recreation to combat obesity, study ways to lessen bullying in our schools, figure out ways to lessen the ecological impact of cruise ships, do market research on the return on investment for corporate athletics sponsors, map wilderness trails and determine routes that allow for better monitoring of park visitors, and yes, believe it or not, even investigate why many are drawn to playing fantasy football. NC State happens to have a top-5 program in PRTM, thanks in large part to getting a legendary UNC recreation professor who was recruited to State in 2003-4 after the major at Carolina was slashed. Though not comparable due to being in similar but technically different fields, UNC has an extremely successful Sport Science and Sport Administration program, which is credited as one of the reasons why we have always been and still are so highly respected in athletics administration circles. UNC also has one of the most selective graduate programs in Sport Science and Sport Administration. Graduates from both NC State and Carolina PRTM and Sport Admin, respectively, are the people who run Disneyland, Pebble Beach, the Lakers, UNC Athletics, Yellowstone National Park, Carnival Cruise, and all of the parks and recreation departments in every city and town in the world. I dislike our rivals when we square off in Athletics as much or more than you, but I also have many friends, colleagues, and even family members who have graduated or work at State. I like them; we like each other. Yes, those on CrackRide represent their lunatic fringe, but we've all gotten so sucked into this mess that many of us are acting awfully similar to those we make fun of. I have no idea if what you are saying is true about these easy classes for State athletes. I don't care. I am not like those on CrackRide; I do not live to "bring them down." All I care about is returning to analyzing games, talking recruiting, returning to the day that the Carolina Way meant me trusting that we were in fact "above the fray" and doing things the right way. I am so sick of scandals and the constant back and forth that it makes me sick to my stomach every time I open IC these days. I am also sick of every dude who doesn't "toe the IC line" getting called out as a dang troll. Sorry man, I just think you are stooping to their level. I am like many of the silent majority who do not post on or read IC; I am worried sick about this dang AFAM investigation, but I don't think that means doing the very thing that we despise them so much for doing."

Funny thing is... Wilson did not show up/do well in his glasses and failed them. UNC doesn't have academic issues in their football team because their players are so smart are in fake classes.

Pretty sure if an antonymous fan was sending transcripts to the NCAA they would vet them for authenticity... a process which would undoubtedly end in that outcome given his claim that illegal means are being used to obtain them. That said, the idiot has nothing though and in the end his credibility will be shot on IC assuming their collective braincells realize that he is a dipshit (Doubtful).
