Like I said I have no idea if money was even mentioned. It was more to formally express our interest in him.

I don't see how that as a bad thing. It puts all the "rumors" to rest and if Yow and PES thought it was a good idea I'm sure it was done professionally.

I think you wait until Sunday to see what happens. If they lose great, but if they win it has come to the point you have to make that call and congratulate him on the Final Four and ask him what his honest interest is at this point. If you arent convinced he is seriously interested you have to move on you cant sit by waiting on him as other good hires goto other schools. Sean seems like the type of guy who would be straight up honest on his actual interest realizing the effect it could have on our search.

i'm simply saying that there is NO way offer over $3M as our 1ST pitch effort. we have to have some room to work with to bid against a counteroffer from AZ, or wherever.

*and you can bet AZ will throw the kitchen sink to not have another coaching turnaround in only 2 years, after they went through the ringer to try and replace Olson.

i disagree. w/ the way it went last time debbie yow can't afford to fuck around. if we have anyone on our booster club who cares about state basketball, they'll make the money to hire sean miller available.

I had a dream last night that my mom was the AD. We were having a cook out at her house and Sean Miller was there. I kept telling mom to go for the whole " your wife hates Arizona, you liked living on the east coast , etc" bit. Oh and to offer a truck load of money.
