Georgia Southern may be our best win, but they're not a credible team. The teams they play are almost as big of jokes as the out of conference teams that we play. No one can look at our schedule and say "wow, NC State sure deserves a bowl after beating the sister of the poor"

No. We suck. But we are gonna go to a bowl. Which is a big positive for this team. I don't think any reasonable fans looks at our body of work this season and thinks we're good.

But it doesn't matter if we "deserve" a bowl or not...we're gonna go to one.

+Credibility for getting us to a bowl, no matter how easy the schedule was we needed to become bowl eligible this year.

We're not in a bowl yet. The committee(s) have to decide. We are eligible, and with one of the worst, if not the worst, 6-6 schedule (assuming we lose to Carolina) we might not make one.

we pretty much played a Sun Belt schedule as far as our wins go. earning a bowl and "deserving" a bowl are two different things. we only have accomplished the first. this team needs the extra practices though, so I won't complain about getting it. but with this terrible schedule, DD gets NO credibility points for doing what a retarded monkey could do. the fact that with an equally terrible schedule last year, with 10 games in state, and only managing 3 wins, is going to be a deep hole for this assclown to dig out of.

Let's be real. What were preseason expectations...6-7 wins? So we're pretty much on track. Even if it has been ugly at times. And I'm not here to defend DD. But I think throwing him under the bus for meeting expectations in year 2 is a bit extreme.

Thats not realistic. A team has to lose each game. You cant just say half of the coaches are bad each week. Players still have to play.

You fuckers were poised to call for his head if we lost today or didnt make a bowl. Now that we have doninated an acc team you simply shrug it off as nothing. Give credit when credit is due if youre going to be the one bitching when we lose.

If we win next week, and finish the season 7-5, after last year's abomination of fail, I will be happy with our bowl game, beating both Wake and UNC, and will feel better going into the bowl game, and have some optimism about the future of the program under DD

If we lose next week, and The E Man makes excuses about why our 6-6 ultimate mediocre record is something spectacular, Doeren will have a make-or-break situation next season

I have no idea what to expect in the UNC game. Their offense is damn potent. But their defense is worse than ours. Our O, besides this week, has been pretty putrid lately...even against a really weak D like GT. I hope the extra week off gives us time to get ready and healthy. They aren't really that good...but I don't like the matchup with their high scoring offense.
