baton rouge owns all. the sheer scale of it is crazy. Ole miss has the grove but the entire LSU campus turns into hardcore tailgating and its a pretty huge campus. Then the parking lots on the west side of the stadium seem to be about the size of the fairgrounds and are usually full of all the townspeople/walmart fans that never went to LSU.

^^ While I agree, the Heisman has become much more than an individual achievement. A player's pre-season placement on the list is important, and Luck was the runner up last year. Also, a player on a team with losses isn't usually considered (but in this season's case, it is since all teams but LSU have a loss and LSU has no one in the Heisman race). Finally, as we know, there's a pretty huge QB bias... he will definitely win it, unless something crazy happens.

I do agree with you though. The award is supposed to be for the most outstanding player, which would be Trent Richardson, Russell Wilson, Case Keenum.
