this was my favorite exchange between Walton and the PBP announcer in the Utes/Ducks game after a Duck put back a miss off of the backboard:

Walton: They just performed that play to perfection, the perfect pass off of the backboard...what great execution.

Also, apparently Bill had a large clock to keep up with the time since Vegas time is different, lol.

There was also a moment where Bill was asking him what teams won their games today and the PBP guy asked, "Do you even watch sports?" and Bill responded, laughing, "I have watched First Take and those guys BRING IT!"

Their total body of work over the season is probably the best or maybe 2nd best in the country. It wasn't a great end to the regular season, but I think it's going to take a lot for them not to get a 1 seed.

I mean, who do you replace them with? Georgetown lost, Michigan lost, Kansas probably has to win the Big XII tourney to even be considered, even then they don't have anything like Duke's best wins. Maybe you consider KU if they win the Big XII tourney impressively, maybe Miami if they win the ACC tourney, maybe MSU if they win the Big Ten?

Before they lost Noel they were back to being ranked and well on their way to being a decent seed in the dance. They lose their most influential player and they don't make the dance.

I was at the UCLA/UofA game last night and the officiating was turrible. UCLA fans are THE WORST. They barely watched the game and were absolute pricks about it afterwards saying that AZ was a shitty program and that the only thing that matters anyway is NCAA titles. Hate them about as much as UNC fans...
