so in the future, niki/jessica is with peter, her husband is dead and so is micah. Peter set us up the bomb, tho everyone thought sylar did it and is dead. but he's not, he's gotten candace's power and nathan's power.

How did Silar get the presidency if Linderman is dead and not there to back him? Nathan might could do it on his own, but I don't think Silar would know enough about people and politics to become president, so Nathan maybe would have been killed after he was already president? Unless silar gets micah's power, since candace and micah are close together.

Silar and Peter can both control the nuclear power now.... so one of them has to be provoked to release it.

Here's a question.... I think most shows would leave NY intact since the "what if" of mass destruction is mostly the realm of movies. Do you think the writers of Heroes would be gutsy enough to destroy NY?

that was just one instance of the future. its already been shifted to where that scenario wont play out.

I'm pretty sure this was always BS.

If you didn't realize it, Linderman is a bad guy, and you can't take anything he says on face. It's very likely he was going to rig the election either way, it had nothing to do with uniting the world. It's more about Linderman controlling the mutants.

1. DL could have "phased out" and grabbed Jessica instead of just jumping in front of her. Then he wouldn't have been shot.

2. Why is Hiro freaking out about Ando going after Sylar. It's not like he doesn't have all the time in the world.

2. Not really, he can't just stop time and walk around everywhere... he hasnt been that in control of his power, he doesnt know how soon Ando will find Sylar.
3. Ted has been hesitant to use his power again, I think he almost wanted to be locked up, remember when they captured him he said to put him in a cell with reinforced concrete and what not... granted after the accident he should've escaped, but he just flipped over like 3 times in a car, he was probably dazed.

Don't forget that Ted mentioned that if you shot him he might explode earlier in the season.

The agreement was for Claire to shoot peter in the head in a way that he wouldn't survive it.

Not sure that just shooting Peter would have stopped it, especially if Peter was doing everything to control it.

i think it was Nathan's way of proving that the future isn't predetermined. If Peter had flown off and blown up, Nathan could have still become president and a crappy one, at that. So Nathan makes sure that every part of the future he knows (NY blows up, he becomes Pres) can't happen.

edit: on a side note, i was a little disappointed in Sylar, he didn't even try to defend against a short little japanese dude running at him with a sword, yet 2 minutes earlier he stopped bullets

someone mentioned earlier that we haven't seen Peter use two powers at once...it's possible that while he was trying to control himself from exploding, he wouldn't be able to fly

Really glad they killed parkman. Too bad they couldn't kill DL, Micah, Suresh, and Peter, too. If Hiro doesn't stop being a huge fag, he's on the list, too.

How the fuck can a guy who is a fan of comic books not know he can teleport back once sylar tosses him, grab peter, then teleport into the ocean or somewhere desolate. Micah making his mom back was laughable.

This is a classic problem with having so many heroes in a show -- they all conveniently forget they have powers in order to move the plot along. Xmen has the same problem.

I think Parkman most likely is dead - I mean they have to make way for a lot of new characters for Season 2. I wont miss DL, that's for sure, I didnt like his character very much. I DO hope they keep up with Hiro, Claire, Suresh, Sylar, and Hiro's father. After that I dont care much either way.

I'm glad Sylar was kept as well, he's the "ultimate" bad guy - he can steal everyone's powers, but ONLY after he's killed them. Sylar is only going to become a better villain with time.
