They redid the bowl listings on the facade of the upper East upper deck. I liked the old way with the listings for each bowl we actually won rather than just appearances.




Also I hope that they plan on still putting the big Block S logo at mid-field.

They listed the bowl and each year we went to it. Not just bowls we won. i.e. Tangerine Bowl: 1978, 2001, & 2003 We beat Pitt in 78, lost to them in 01, and beat Kansas in 03.

Since it looks like nothing will be painted at midfield, I think it is better for the grass to have smaller logos placed on the field instead of a big block S at the 50 yard line. I hope having the white outline of NC State and Wolfpack in the endzones means they will be filled in with red.

I did too, but some of the bowls were filling up and not allowing space for future bowls/years. This might be easier/more cost effective to update. They are likely trying to do what they can to make the stadium look as nice as possible for Thursday night.

Based on what I saw today, they will fill in the logos with red (block S, ACC logo, and hopefully the letters in the endzones) and black (parts of the block S that have black around them) closer to Thursday night. This will lessen the damage to the grass.

The field looks amazing though, center logo or not. The grass looks great, and the lack of crown is fantastic!

I have a feeling CF is going to play a lot "faster" in the future!

looks to me like a mid-field logo wouldn't even fit at this point, the two little block s logos would be crowding it

I see the filling in the endzone letter with red along with the ACC and block S logos on the field. This along with the yard numbers will likely be done Wednesday or early Thursday.

that's pretty cool too. i really want (one day when i have $) to get a flag pole to take to the tailgate spot and take on the road to games, that has the State Flag, the NC flag, and the ACC flag... in that order.

what's a cheap/sturdy method of doing that? what kind of pole... pvc? where to get flags?

You'll have trouble finding the ACC flag. A lot of people make theirs' out of PVC pipe.

For this flagpole, I used a 5 ft piece of 1.5" PVC with a point cut into it to drive into the ground(This will be the base).

About a foot from the top of that piece, I drilled a hole through the PVC and stuck a cotter pin through the hole. Then, I stuck a 5 foot piece of 1" PVC into that. This piece has a coupler at the top of it that is glued to the shaft with epoxy. The coupler has a hole drilled through it that mates with a hole on the top of the flagpole(4 ft 1" PVC) with the flag mounted to it with cotter pins. you attach everything and stick pins through the holes to secure it all. It is surprisingly sturdy. About to make another so I can rock my COLD BEER and NCSU flags

Really would like to find a way to mount a portion of a pole on my truck though.

Hello Wolfpack Fans!

Just a few reminders about the Pep Rally:

-It will be starting at 7:00pm Wednesday @ Harris Field! We hope to see all of you there.

-The Koozie's will be available on a first come basis. In order to minimize chaos, Koozie's will not be handed out until after the Pep Rally. As you arrive you can stop by the Students Today Alumni Tomorrow table and pick a Koozie Voucher. After the pep rally ends you can bring your voucher back to the table and pick up your Koozie.

-Campus Police will be on hand to handle anyone who gets out of hand, so make sure you don't do anything dumb!

-Loyalty Points will be available to all students who attend the Pep Rally, Student Government will have a table out at Harris Field where you can go and get your ID Scanned in order to get the Loyalty Points.

-Various media outlets have been contacted so make sure you get there early, stay the whole time, and are loud so that we can show everyone how much NC State pride we all have.
