That dumb cunt does realize that a preponderance of evidence is not sufficient cause to convict someone in a criminal trial? There's a whole iteration, clear and convincing, of burden of proof between preponderance of evidence and beyond a reasonable doubt.

He still deserves to walk though because these people are incompetent, there is no evidence against him, and that's how our legal system works.

I honestly don't know. he had motive but they haven't made a very strong case yet. So far it looks like he made a couple trips to the grocery store and did a littler work from home while his wife went for a run.

i find it hard to believe that he did it and covered his tracks this well. i would think that there would have to be some hard evidence pointing to him as the culprit. at this point, despite the statics, i think its more probable that Nancy was abducted on her run, raped and thrown out in a drainage ditch. i mean they found a cigarette butt at the crime scene (which they didn't collect as evidence or run DNA analysis on) and i far as I know Brad doesn't smoke.

I generally agree with the consensus here. It's clear he had the motive and the prosecution has done a poor job handling the burden of proof. I have to assume he really did a good job covering his tracks and planning this out if this weak ass case is all they have.

I just don't see the motive for anyone else to have committed the crime. It's not like she was kidnapped for money, raped, or shot by some gang bangers. If they're sure she died by strangulation then that definitely seems like a crime of passion. If I just wanted to off someone it's not going to be like that.

I understand his reasoning for dumping the body within close proximity to their home so he could use the jogging excuse, but would it not have been better to take is somewhere further away where it could never be found? Basically I'm asking is it better or worse for his case that they found the body?

this...or the cpd is so inept that they overlooked/ignored obvious evidence. the prosecution has done a better job of casting doubt on his guilt than the defense could have dreamed...they could just rest w/o calling any witnesses at this point.

There was also tire tracks at location of the body that didn't match any of the Cooper's cars. Though the only analysis done by the cpd was measuring the width between the two tracks.
