Thank god they lost one. They still got a shot at acc title albeit a very slim one now.

The schedule gods really shined on unc this year with no clemson or Louisville. And VT at home and fsu on the road in a down year.

Now VT has the tiebreaker over them at least and they amazingly don't play ul, clem, or fsu.


This is what's gay about current acc. SCheadle strengths don't align at all in such a have and have not conference that is lopsided as hell

The conditions for the UNC game were not nearly as bad for our game. Plus UNCs field held up significantly better than ours.

That said VT was extremely well prepared for this game, but UNC made a ton of big mistakes and VT made them pay for every one. Whenever VT had a mistake caused by the weather, UNC couldn't capitalize. For example VT had a punt snap go like 20 yards over the punters head and UNC never even got within 5 yards of the punter before he got the kick off. Little stuff like that added up to an ass whooping. Also VT is just really good on D and the weather conditions made them look like Alabama yesterday.

Most of Raleigh got 8 inches of rain. Chapel Hill got closer to 3.5 inches on Saturday. That's a big difference.

Didn't realize it was such a big difference given the proximity of the cities. I was watching the game with some family that don't really care about football and they just kept commenting on how that one section of the field was a lake. I was surprised at the inconsistent drainage more than anything. The actual grass did hold up extremely well.

Well, much of the game was played on the same ~30 yard area of the field on the south side of the stadium, so it looked worse than the other side, but it drained amazingly well for the amount of water that fell.
