I'm going to be in DC this weekend and I want to go see the US play.

Fox Soccer Channel is showing the game at 6:00PM. Goldcup.org is saying 3:00PM. Since we finished second in our group, I know we're slotted for the first game, but I figured FSC would do everything they can to flip that so we play last and during a better time slot.

Who to believe? Anyone else going? Think I can buy them at the window?

Doesn't one ticket get you into both games?

Goff at the Washington Post said last night he hadn't heard anything on flipping the time slot, so I'd just assume the game was at 2:30 and if you get there and they've flipped it, you'll just watch both games. Unless tying up your entire Sunday in DC watching Gold Cup isn't appealing...

I had the whole weekend planned around the US playing at 6pm. Talking the wife into going was an ordeal. We're going to the Holocaust Memorial/Museum that morning/afternoon so I'm not sure how long that will take. Good call on El Salvador fans...I might grab a couple today.

Kind of off topic, but does ANYBODY know when TWC will start carrying FSC in HD? How much sense does it make to offer FSC Plus in HD for 3 bucks more a month but NOT offer the mother channel in HD?

I read where Comcast is lined up to carry it. It's brutal watching games in SD...and chopped SD at that.

The one downside of DirectTV is no FSC in the standard package. Not worth the premium package, at least until European leagues start back up (but I can see a lot of games on ESPN3).

Driving to DC tomorrow without tickets to try and buy from scalpers outside the stadium. I wonder if it's two separate tickets that were distributed or if it's literally one ticket one admission for both matches.

I went to the games in Charlotte last week (Costa Rica vs El Salvador, Cuba vs Mexico). If you get in, it's for both games, and just 1 ticket.....or at least that's how it was in the last round. I'd assume it's the same for this round as well. I paid $55 total to see both games, plus fees (shipping) for mine, which were about row 12 in the lower level. That was face value for Charlotte. I doubt you get that price for this one, but who knows, you may get a deal. Good luck.

So is it wrong of me to kind of want to see Bradley sub in Freddy Adu? I mean, if we don't see him now, we won't ever see him, and at this point it's kind of like Ricky Rubio. I doubt he really has anything of substance, but I'd still like to get a look at him after he's actually had some time to mature.

Just to clarify, I don't think he's the best guy to put in, it would be purely a selfish reason.
