^^dude that makes no sense at all. palin MARRIED a seccionist, and you're claiming it's irrelevent because they didn't know each other? are we not allowed to say "once a seccionist, always a seccionist?" because you seem to be using that argument against ayers.

ok so lets condone those who committed acts of terrorism in a well known terrorist organization
only if obama is friends with him though, and if it was in the past
but hey, its not like its a serious crime or anything
god, its remarkable how far youll go to try and keep obamas image ... would you actually admit anything negative about his past or present .. or is that just impossible

^^^what image are we trying to preserve? i mean, you're argument is one sided. you claim that palin's hands are clean of her husbands political actions, even though the two are married, but obama is guilty for knowing a man who's political actions were atrocious?
i'm not arguing that ayers actions were mildly tolerable, but be realistic here. it's downright hypocritical for palin to be on her stump asking who the real obama is and going all transitive property with the ayers and wright associations, and then asking for immunity for some of her own questionable actions.

I am hoping after a humiliating defeat (by a black guy) the GOP will wake the fuck up and make a lateral transition to a platform based on fiscal conservatism while executing some level of altruism.
Given the option of either the legislature or executive branch; I would rather the GOP take the legislature. I am not that worried about Obama being president as long as the GOP retakes congress and senate, except for Dole who i hope crashes in burns. Obama can't pass all his spend happy liberal programs if the conservative law makers are cutting the money train. This combination is what allowed the Clinton administration to be so successful imho.

Here's what I don't get about Ayers. Everyone from here to California is screaming their heads off about how he's some horrible terrorist and enemy of the United States and how anyone who associates with him is a terrorist.
Do you know what he did?
He tried to blow up this statue:
Hey, I bet that killed a lot of people, right?
Oops, no. Zero.
But I bet at least someone was injured, right?
Oops, no. No one was hurt at all.
But, but, he said he wanted to bomb stuff again!
Actually, no, he didn't:
Quote : | ""The one thing I don't regret is opposing the war in Vietnam with every ounce of my being.... When I say, 'We didn't do enough,' a lot of people rush to think, 'That must mean, "We didn't bomb enough shit."' But that's not the point at all. It's not a tactical statement, it's an obvious political and ethical statement. In this context, 'we' means 'everyone.'"" |
Millions of people did radical protesting in the 60s. It was a tenuous time.
And if this guy is such a fucking CRAAAAAAZY INSANE RADICAL TERRORIST, how is he teaching at a University as a professor? Don't you think the administration there would have a problem employing a CRAZZYY RADICAL INSANE TERRORRIST who wants to BLOW UP AMERICA?
Oh yes, I forgot, this was just blown out of proportion by conservative douchebags.
===================================
And all this for someone Obama has a loose relationship with.
Give
me
a fucking
break.

never called him islamic
and if the media did there job like theyre doing so thoroughly against mccain, i wouldnt need to call skepticism to his unknown shady past.
and i have called him out on policies, but they are so vaguely portrayed that its impossible to tell how they will actually pan out and ultimately be implemented ... obamas so called tax breaks for 95% of the middle class is such a joke because he will never follow through with that
his view of nationalized health care is such a dangerous prospect .. that is going to have a endless pricetag that will be paid for by every working american even if you have a policy already. its going to put govt agents in washington in charge of its distribution and thus giving them more power and taking power away from health care professionals. there are so many ways for this to fail miserably all over. the liberals answer to any failing govt service is not reform, but spend more money and thus raise more taxes
nationalized health care has failed miserably in the UK and he hasnt learned from that. appointments have to be made months in advance over there and sometimes forced to get treated hours from home
i disagree with mccains bailout view, but thats part of a bill thats already been passed so its already in progress
but you really dont count in any of this because youre not going to vote right?10/9/2008 4:14:49 PM |

Obama was all I heard on the damn TV up until Aug. McCain rarely made headlines this summer. That all changed by the end up August. As incompetent as Palin is; she has succeeded in stealing the spotlight from Obama. Perhaps this was McCain's true intentions all along. We will find out next month if this gamble paid off. As off right now though the odds are slightly out of his favor.
I am not actually that worried about universal health care. With the 700 Billion bailout with the current, No Ceo Left Behind program, there is absolutly no way Obama could fund some kind of nationalized health care program. Espicially if Obama intends to honor his proposed tax cuts.10/9/2008 4:53:20 PM |
